I grew up on these chili dogs.  Before I was old enough to go inside, I ordered from the window on the sidewalk.  I have been searching all my life for a chili dog that compares.

This is the place that started me on my life long quest for the perfect chili dog, so I have a little nostalgia going with my rating. The place is a disgusting, nasty hole in the wall, but in my opinion, these are the best chili dogs I've had anywhere. If you are a prim and proper sort, bypass this place. If you like good rot gut chili dogs in the company of a bunch of drunks, by all means have yourself 3 or 4
