great food for a low price. Perfect for a first date. You can dress nice but you don't have to exactly go all out. A simple pair of dress pants and a button up, or dress shorts and a dressy polo fits the pic.
Free wine tasting night on tuesdays and liquour shots for tasting on thursdays. It's a must try.
I did not have a good experience at BIN112! Â I did not like the atmosphere, it was way too loud. Â Too small and too cramped. Â I did not like the service. Â I did not like the server telling me how I was going to get my dinner because one person was still nibbling on one appetizer we got. Â If we ordered the food, we expected to get the food when it was prepared, not when we were finished eating one course. Â The food is VERY expensive for what you get. Â $24 for 5 shrimp, and they were not that big. Â Medium sized at most, I would question the menu's description. Â The crab cakes we ordered came out BURNED! Â The food was just not that good.
On a very slow Wednesday night the owner/manager did not even come by our table to ask about our experience. Â That is troubling for a restaurant that is trying to be so upscale but not validating it in the proper manner. Â Some guy I think was the owner/manager was hanging out at the bar with his friends, but not the paying guest. Â The art was nice and they have a nice wine selection, but you can't get a bowl of soup. Â Too many cons versus the pros.
Downtown Greer has better restaurants with better food and service. Â The only plus I can say about BIN112 is that they did give me a Koozie with my beer. Â Not a place for repeat business, it just was not that good. Â I cannot stress that enough. Â It may seem nice at first and you may hear good things about it from the "occasional" person that dines out, but bottom line, it just was not that good! Â Try it, but when you leave, you will remember this review in the back of your mind and most likely agree that you should had spent your hard earned dollars elsewhere.
Buyer beware.
A gem in Downtown Greer! DH and I always overlook eating in Greer since there are more options in Greenville but we are glad we stopped by. Â BIN112 was very inviting and charming. We went in on a Fri night and the place was full so opted to sit at the bar. Â Great wine list and food was fabulous! Â I ordered the special and DH had the Smoky Mountain beef tenderloin (cooked to perfection) with sweet potato mash (to die for!!!). Â From atmosphere to entrees everything as A+. Will definitely be back :)
Review Source:After visiting their sister restaurant The Strip Club - we decided to give Bin112 a try.
It was great! Jessie our waiter was not only an excellent server but very entertaining. Be sure to ask for him
We got the mussels to start, the sauce was so delicious that I wanted to drink it straight from the pot. My boyfriend had the snapper special and loved it. I had the tuna, it was perfect.
We'll be going back soon.
Fabulous place. Great date night place. Wine selection is the best I've seen in this area. Food presentation was amazing. And you can get the small portion for about 60% of the entree price and its plenty. Â Especially since you will definitely want to save room for desert. Â I felt like I was in a big city. Â Very impressed. Â I'll be back soon.
Review Source:What a great cozy place! This is a great place for any occasion from a first date, a celebration or a business meeting.
I ate here with my family on 10.9.12. The food was amazing (I'm going to attach a few photo's). A good tip is to go on Tuesday night, this is when they do free wine tastings. You get to try three small wine glasses, enough for a few swallows that come out on small tiers. One was good enough that  a bottle was ordered for the table. I found out that you can even bring your own bottle of wine and decanter.
The menu is trendy and have really cute names for the items. I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat and the server suggested a few of her own favorites. The food came out quickly and hot and was better than the last time I was here a few months ago.
The best part (and my favorite) part of the evening was the dessert. Smores were ordered for the table and all of it was eaten. Graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate were served on a plate while another dish held the sternos and skewers for making the smores.
It was a great atmosphere for a small intimate get together for a celebration, I will most defiantly be back soon!'
Thank you Bin 112!
Great food for downtown Greer!! Have eaten here several times...and have always enjoyed it! Â Great wines...the mussels are good...and the entree selections are tasty and inventive...and I like that you can get appetizer and entree portions! Â Nice atmosphere...makes for a MUST GO if your in Greer!!
Review Source:First time to this restaurant, but I will definitely be back.
Menu is interesting, fun, and varied. The option of small plates is so nice if you like to try different things. Service was great including the bartender. The staff are very friendly and everyone stops by to greet you and say hello. Â At first we were seated somewhere we did not like - Â at a tiny table in a corner, but was immediately offered a different table as soon as we expressed our issue with the seating arrangement. Â The place is tiny, but that only lends to the ambience of feeling like you have found a secret in downtown Greer. Â Great atmosphere
Best time I've had in a while. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food is amazing! Â Top quality and interesting for foodies. We tried the duck, "what a mess" chicken, black and blue tuna, steak and eggs, and the trio. The steak and eggs were the best by far. Filet mignon, fluffy and crunchy potato cake on a bed of delish greens and all topped with a sunny side up egg. Four of us with beverages and desert was less than $150. Â Who knew we had such a casual, fun, top quality place in our little town.
Review Source:wow.......so what if I ended up spending well over $250 that night here.  I just couldn't  resist.  The clams, the countless bottles of wine, whateverthatdishwascalled, and the wine......  Great staff and over the top servers made the night really special.  Next time, I'm only bringing cash.
Review Source:We had lunch there last week. What an amazing surprise. We had one of their angus burgers with their homemade chips. I also had a side of delicious home cooked collards. The iced tea was even awesome. Don't miss this place of you are close by. Great menu and service. I want to try dinner also.
Review Source:Great experience throughout. Personally greeted by co-owner (Allison) who remembered we'd just moved and welcomed us to area.
The server, who's name escapes me, was awesome. Attentive without being obtrusive. We did app portions that included a nice mixed green salad (wild greens, forever), their dim sum incl crabmeat won tons and dumplings and "black n blue", a nice seared tuna dish w blue cheese dumplings.
Nice wine, beer and spirit collection. Already got my loyalty card and iPhone app! What's left but to go back or to their other place with the enticing name, The Strip Club?
I really like this place it has been a great destination place for me since it opened.  I have never had a bad dish and the bartender is one "Hot Mama".  I wonder if she ever talks about me.  But anyway I think this is  the best place in Greer and is worth the trip from Spartanburg or Greenville.
Review Source:This is one of my favorite places to eat! Â I love the entire experience here: Â friendly/attentive staff, nice atmosphere, creative food, best wine list in the area.
We love to go here tapas style and get lots of different small plates and share them with our group. Â My favorites: Â candy of the sea (wow), flaming kasseri, smokey mountain beef tenderloin...honestly, I don't think anything that they serve is less than awesome. Â Don't go home without trying one of their signature desserts! Â One word of warning though...some of the food is fairly spicy.
Oh, they only server lunch on Friday, but you'll never want to go anywhere else for a burger after experiencing a BIN112 burger. Â I love the Southern Comfort burger (ground filet, fried green tomato, fresh pimento cheese, jalapeno bacon)...OMG!
If you are looking for a casual (but upscale) uniquely southern dining experience, you MUST give this place a try!
i was surprised to see such nice spot in downtown greer. i honestly would have never thought to go to downtown greer to eat.
atmosphere: very nice, clean and very modern. lovely decor.
servers were great. they give great recommendations and are very helpful.
had the flaming kasseri my first time, then again my second time. it is as the menu says 'to die for.' i absolutely love it! i've been there twice and haven't had anything i didnt like yet, from appetizers to entrees to dessert.
