This is the MUST-visit place in Rock Springs (according not only to me, but to the very friendly locals at the bar). I went on Mother's day and it was rocking busy, but I found room at the bar.
The Beers were very good - the light ale was slightly under-carbonated for my taste, but it might have been the keg... the IPA was a WINNER.
Tomato basil soup was wicked flavorful - as was the veggie burger. Speaking of which it was SO damn refreshing as a veggie eater to see 'substitute veggie burger pattie for any of the burgers below'. GREAT idea people :)
The FRIES were ridiculously good. Homemade, crispy fresh tastiness.
Service was amazingly friendly but also really good and fast.
This place? GO.
As a newcomer to Rock Springs, I'm still in the mode of searching out the good deals and great places to go. Â I had heard that BCB is a good place here and decided to check it out. Â Two visits later, I can state that I have enjoyed both visits. Â I like the beer (esp. the samplers which are darn inexpensive) and the food... Â blackened salmon and the gourmet burgers scored big. Â Service was great... Â I think Terrianne was the last servers name and she was very friendly. Â I will be going back.
Review Source:This place is definitely clean and pleasant inside with okay service.  The beer was disappointing.  I have never tried beer in Wyoming, so I'm not sure what the standard is.  However, I tried the malty pale ale and is was not bitter, hardly any hops, almost no carbonation, and I'm not sure if there was any alcohol in it.  I tried the Red Desert next and that certainly had more carbonation and maybe a little more  alcohol content.  They charge $4.50 for a pint, which seems to be normal for craft beers on draft.  However, I would have to say that for the quality the beer is overpriced.
I agree that they have a lot of interesting combinations when it comes to burgers.  I tried the All Choked Up because I wanted a  burger and I love Spinach Artichoke Dip.  Sure enough, they mastered the combination!  It was a very good sandwich.  I requested the fries to be extra crispy and they mastered that as well.
Overall, the beer was okay, the food was good, and the bartenders were friendly.
I'd really been looking forward to good beer and a good burger. Bittercreek Brewing, though, made it a struggle to enjoy either. Instead of a worry free evening, I witnessed some of the worst planning and restaurant management ever. After arriving, it took an unreasonably long time for anyone to take even a drink order. And at that point, my friend and I learned that even though it was only a Wednesday, the restaurant was out of most of its beers. We adapted though, and placed our beer and food orders. Five minutes later, we learned that the restaurant was also out of most of its food. Again, we adapted. Our burger orders took an hour to arrive. When they showed up at the table, my friend and I discovered that we were served something completely different than we had ordered. Of course, we objected. The wrong meals were returned. It has been more than 30 minutes...so I've now waited more than 90 minutes for a hamburger. Don't come here. They don't staff well and they fail to plan for expected restaurant traffic. The only one I feel bad for is the poor waitress, who clearly has not been given the autonomy to make any reparations. Really, that is just one more strike against the same management that failed to arrange for grocery shopping or sufficient beer.
Review Source:Is meh a review?  I'm in Rock Springs all the time for work and seem to keep coming back to this place.  The beers are better than macro stuff, but not really as interesting as something you would find at a normal small micro.  Not bad, but not really special either.  The  food works, its all good, but none if its great or unique.  Rock springs is pretty lacking for good food and this is one of the best in town.  If it were in more of a foody area this is a 2 star place.  For rock springs its a 5 star.  Don't expect to have your mind blown, but if you're in  town its a pretty good option.
Review Source:Here's the thing. The beer is good, but the service isn't. I wanted a pizza, just a standard thin crust, but was told they didn't have thin crust only the "brew crust." So I said fine. Then I find out I was charged $1 more for the brew crust. WTF.
I asked the waitress about it and her response was " well you ate it, right."
On top of this, I had to ask her to bring me silverware.
Terrific service, good brews and a freakin' yummy Pot Roast sandwich. Â I'm not a reuben fan but apparently the one inhaled at our table was 'the best EVER!'.
Fresh cut fries, perfectly cooked for my tastes. Â Bits of skin, bit squishy, browned just enough. Â They were even better mixed up in my extra sandwich gravy. Â
I'm just sad I live so far away.
In the middle of Rock Springs, WY there just aren't a lot of eating options. I kept telling myself that when we were recommended by several locals that this was the best place in town. Ah... poor Rock Springs.
For appetizers, we ordered the Thai Chicken Nachos and Artichoke Dip. The nachos are okay... same with the Artichoke Dip. Both were missing just a little extra flavor. For dinner, I ordered the Cajun Pork Chops with a side salad. The Pork Chops completely through me off. They come with huge peppers on top and a tomato spicy sauce. I'm not sure that the flavor combination was a good choice. I ended up just eating my side salad (and if you know me, you know that I'm not even a huge fan of salads.) My coworkers informed me that their steaks weren't all that great either. One of them ordered the Jalapeno Burger and was in physical pain eating it. According to him, the jalapenos were some of the hottest he has ever had. After a round of daring each other to try them, my other coworkers agreed that they were in fact the hottest jalapenos in existence. I'm not sure any meal is worth that many tears from grown men.
The beer is decent. I tried the Summer Wheat and it was pretty satisfying.
The brewery has a pretty cool vibe and decor. I love the bike hanging at the entrance. I had a steak that was smothered in a sort of gravy, kinda weird. I would not have it again. The burgers looked good, and my Friends were all sweating balls from the crazy hot jalapenos. This was not my favorite place.
Review Source:Very professional brews! Good food that was very fresh. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast but we were two of five diners. Â The interior has a cool psudo- industrial vibe because brew tanks are in the middle of the dining room and the pipes run across the rafters. Bar with taps (obviously). Don't listen to the naysayers on this place, check it out for your self! must be 21+
Review Source:Quick stop in town for food, we were excited to find a microbrew restaurant for lunch.
The tasting tray of beers was pretty good, and priced right at $4. Â Some of the beers are really good, I liked the "Bob" and Scotch Ale especially. Â
We had the artichoke dip, which came with a mix of stale and soft baguette bread mini slices. Â The dip was basically sour cream, with artichoke mixed in, then melted mozzarella cheese on top. Â This wasn't really good or palatble, but we were starving and got it down.
My wife and I both had Caesar salads, mine with blackened chicken. Â I asked the server if the chicken was made in house, and she said it was. Â When the salad came, it was pretty clear to me the chicken was from a food-service company. Â It was cold, not especially fresh and had no flavor. Â
The service was pretty bad, not friendly and slow, considering there were at least two servers working and only a few tables full.
I had 24-48 hours of upset stomach/food poisoning after this meal. Â I have an iron stomach in general, and rarely get sick from any food. Â I don't know if it was my reaction to the artichoke dip, or if it was the chicken. Â It is more likely the chicken because it is the only thing my wife didn't have, and her stomach is much more sensitive than mine.
In general, the beer is great but you might do well to stay away from the food.
Ordered two rib eye steaks. Â The cut was very thin and the steaks were dry. Â It reminded us of institutional quality meat and something you'd see in a nursing home. Â Will never return consequently. Â Waitress and manager were friendly and did offer reasonable offer to take back steaks to order something else or take one of the steaks off the bill. Â But $17.99 for such poor quality steaks does speak to the management and quality of this restaurant. Â Two thumbs way down.
Review Source:We stopped here on our way through on a road trip. Â I really enjoyed the beer, and the food was pretty good too. Â I'm not usually much of an IPA gal, but theirs was tasty! Â I tried their sampler (I recommend this-it's a good way to test out what they've got, and see what you like), and I also liked their stout.
