The Black Diamond Wing Sauce is to Die For
We were staying for one night, driving south to Florida and From the reviews this seemed like a place that we would like. I wasn't sure about the wings, they got mixed reviews, but we decided to get six with the Black Diamond Sauce. OMG! Â I could drink that stuff it is so good! Â The wings themselves were a little scrawny, but they were cooked well and still crispy, even though they had sauce over and under them. We also shared the chicken sliders, and they were good, but the star of the night was the sauce.
Service was fine, not speedy but friendly. The prices were very inexpensive, compared to just about anywhere we have been lately.
If we lived around here, this would be where we would hang out.
My favorite wings - the Black Diamond are a creamy hot sauce that I haven't found outside of the area. The spicy cajun and creamy parmesean are also delicious. Make sure to get the fries and hot cheese balls. The food takes FOREVER - you will easily wait 30-45 min, sometimes an hour or more if it's busy. But the waitstaff is great and the food is good enough that I keep going back and always have a good meal.
Review Source:I've only been here a few times. Great little neighborhood bar. Cheap drinks, great food. Friendly staff and patrons.
I wish I would've taken a picture of the wings. Some of the best I've had in a while (not counting my own homemade ones). They are crisp and they don't skimp on sauce. The Black Diamond sauce is a yummy creamy hot sauce. The garlic wings are great too, buttery with chunks of garlic smothering the wings. The Sweet Chili wings are delicious as well, like an Asian sweet/spicy sticky sauce. The Honey Mustard were good, different sauce than I expected, but not bad.
Great, now I'm hungry for wings and I'm no longer in PA:(
