Awful VENUE!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Owner Tim does not pay bands agreed upon amounts. He is a LIAR and a Thief!!!!!!

Triple books bands and then does not pay them agreed upon amount after making them wait for HOURS for pay out! Handing someone $40 after they rent a PA and Drive an hour is INSULTING!!!!

Being a POS in this business will not work out for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH A THIEF!!!

I will be shocked if this place is still around in 12 months, unless it caters to the neighborhood. It tries to pose as a 'different' bar, offering an alternative to the main stream country-type bars in the New Braunfels area, and that's cool. The main problem is that, in this case, 'different' means annoyingly loud heavy metal and an absolute dislike of the average New Braunfels bar goer...don't let the name, the deer mount on the wall, or the pool table fool you. The owner a jerk, and his bad attitude trickles down to his bar staff.  I actually heard him mocking some of his customers to his staff. Really??? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. On the plus side, there are pretty decent drink specials even on weekends, but that's not enough to bring me back there.

I like this place.  I'm not a big country-music fan, and it seems like that's most of New Braunfels.  I've yet to see a ten-gallon hat here.  But if that's your thing, don't let it stopy ya from heading here.  Quickly.  The bartender Tasha is a bamf for sure, and the drinks are strong.  Usually have specials too, for both beer and liquor.  Has a pool table and plenty of seats around the bar.  And it has the arcade game Big Buck Hunter, which is pretty challenging after drinking the aforementioned drinks.  

The couple of bands I've seen there are good, it's not the easiest place to talk when the bands are playing because it's not a big place, but who has super serious conversations at bars anyways?  Overall, there's a super chill, unpretentious vibe to this place.
