Blackie's Place

Ah, Blackie's. I've only been here a few times, and only drank one of the times. When you're drinking, it isn't so bad here. The crowd isn't exactly the best, but they're friendly at least. Being the driver and being stuck here is a lot worse. It's an awful dive of a place filled with unsavory-looking characters. Some of them are pretty fun to talk to though, so don't let the looks fool you. Others are complete douchebags. There is no overall vibe like you find at most bars - its all over the place. The servers are nice too. Karaoke is pretty fun here, but few people get into it. Theres a few pool tables too. Drinks are about average prices. I wouldn't absolutely recommend Blackie's, but I wouldn't tell you to stay away either.  When I went, they were taking cash only. Not sure if that's the norm or if their machine was broken. There is an ATM in the place though.
