I tried breakfast today with an out of town friend. BAD idea. The service was terrible. I understand why the coffee is free, nobody would dare pay for it. The earthy water was also a real turn off.
The food made up a little bit for everything else, but I don't think that it was worth it. Thank goodness I didn't build it up to be a great place.
Middling; American-food bar and restaurant, perfectly fine, but unexceptional.
Beer selection was pretty minor-- all very low-flavor beers, Bud and Miller and Corona; they apparently don't drink Porters or Stouts or IPA in Alliance.
I had the jalapeno poppers and a Chef's salad; the salad was huge, plenty of food there with some to take home. Â My wife had the Chicken Caesar. Â No complaints on either.
TV in the restaurant was showing baseball, but the sound was low, so it wasn't obnoxious. Â
Minor gripe, the waitress forgot to bring the ranch dip with my poppers.
