Extremely impressed with our dinner the other night. The starters were amazing: A homemade ricotta mixed with honeycomb and micro greens (I'm craving it at this very minute!), fresh oysters, and sardines (not going to be to everyone's taste, but these were fresh and perfectly prepared) - delicious!

For entrees we had porcini dusted hake, an exquisite rack of lamb servered over delicious, petite lentils and an fine hanger steak frites. All were excellent and well received by each of us... and we can be very picky. (My friend did feel the steak frites was possibly, just slightly too sweet, but I do not agree).

The atmosphere was outstanding, making conversation easy and the atmosphere pleasant. My daughter was also very pleased, and delighted the kids menu also had a starter's category.

Finally our service was great, friendly and prompt. A rare and well deserved five stars.

Mmmmmm this place is a nice find. I stumbled across this from a friend. I come to find out the spot has some national acclaim. My wife and I had to try it. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The service was good from the host to the wait staff the food however was great. The freshness of the herbs and sides complimented either choices of protein we ordered. I had the pork chop and my wife had the rack of lamb. The chop with the risotto was quite a treat the lamb was coked to perfection. The wine selection is quite nice and the server went out of her way to help my wife chose the one that fit her taste.  Deserts were the topper I had the Nutella mouse. That's right Nutella, it was heavenly.

    Would gladly return...

Amazingly good food. Really interesting flavor combinations. It's not inexpensive, but they really are using locally produced ingredients.

This is true farm-to-table. It's not just a flimsily-supported claim like at the "Farmtable" in Bernardston. That place is full of shit. This is the real deal.

There seems to be a strong seafood influence on the menu here. I'm assuming this is why the name Blue Heron.

It's a really pleasant and intimate atmosphere, with the type of service you'd expect.
