The Boardwalk

The restaurant upstairs at the Boardwalk is probably the best food option in Put-in-Bay.  

The outside tables right over the water, and inside is glassed in with great views of the bay.  I grabbed a seat outside.  

The server was friendly and helpful, walking through the menu and helping with drink selections.  I tried their sangarita, which was fantastic.  I also ordered their steamed mussels, which were very tasty with a nice garlic butter sauce and enough bread to soak it up.  

Like most restaurants in the area, this place is not cheap.  However, it is probably one of the more upscale places, if not the most, on the island.

Great views and the interior is cool. We went to the upper deck part. All wood inside. The food is top notch. We ordered to go for 4 people and each of us tried what we all ordered and it was ALL AMAZING. Coconut shrimp- the flavor was wonderful. Western Burger- nice and juicy , great fries. Lobster Bisque- wow absolutely the best ( ask for a little bit of cherry on the side and pour it over the top). The other burger was delicious as well with guacamole. mmmmmmmmmmmm 5 out of 5!

Best place to eat on Put in Bay! It has a variety of restaurants so if you go with a large group it's easier to eat together and less stress on finding one place that has everything because this place already has everything. I normally do not eat seafood but like everyone else said their lobster bisque is delicious. I typically get the brugers and fries. Sometimes it can be super busy but they have a ton of outdoor seating that you will finally find a place to sit down.
