Boathouse Bar & Grill

Mixed dinner last night.  I had a steak and hash browns which were very very good.  Husband had the butterflied pork chop, which was so dry you could barely eat it, and it had a sweet sauce that I didn't care for.  Ambiance is dated and it is a typical small town Iowa closed in building without windows.  Go for the steaks and burgers.  Service was very prompt and friendly.

We are from Texas visiting friends here. We ate supper here and food was good. Had a burger and all you can eat fish.  It was a little confusing as who our waitress was, as we were greeted by one confident young lady who took our drink order and asked for our food order. We thought she was our waitress, then another came to table out of breath and seem perturbed, which kinda killed our mood. She said the other lady was the bartender!  Bring back the fun spirited bar tender!  The food was good is why I'm giving 4 stars.
