This is your standard Bob Evans but with worse service. Â If it's 2pm in the afternoon and you aren't busy, you'd think you would have a better turn around time of drink refills and general "is everything alright?" Â No much thing as service with a smile here. Â They did offer us several baskets of rolls and biscuits when our order did not go through their machine and ages had past before anyone noticed. Â Okay, only 12 minutes (this is the standard food wait time at Bob Evans, fyi for next time!) but when you are hungry it seems longer! Â Food-wise, I prefer Bob's over Cracker Barrel in the taste department and because they do have some "healthier" options. Â I enjoyed the modern and updated decor and table seating arrangement here. Â Very conveniently located from the outlet mall.
Review Source:I Â could only wish that Bob Evans had local units. The closest one to me is hundreds of miles away, so whenever possible, if we plan a trip, we see if we can fit in a stop at one of their storefronts.
Bob Evans, is, food wise, what Cracker Barrel should try to be.
And, they, unlike Cracker Barrel are assured enough of their product, that they are not reluctant to publish the nutritional information.
Never have I ever gotten a bad meal at Bob Evans.
Recommended. Drive past Cracker Barrel to a Bob Evans.

It's a Bob Evans so you know going in what you will be getting. Â It is right across the street from the outlet mall and it gives you a bit more variety to eat than the fast food joints on the other side of the road.
Frankly, I prefer BE's breakfast fare to their dinner or lunch although some salads passing by looked pretty decent. Â I had a seafood platter that consisted of fried fish and shrimp and it was very crunchy - more crunch than fish - and the rolls were just bland puffs of brown air.
The cole slaw was pretty darn good and their chicken noodle soup wasn't too bad. Â If ever in this neck of the wood would I eat here again? Maybe, but only breakfast fare or maybe one of those big chef salads.
