Boomers Bar & Grill

Nice dinner and bar. Large selection of tv's and a really knowledgable friendly bartender.
Recommend the blackened chicken to eat.

My daughter and I were driving around trying to figure out what to eat.  I didn't feel like a fast food.  Sullivan really doesn't have much of a selection unless you want the typical chain restaurant.

Yelp to the rescue.  I pulled out my phone and searched for a cafe or grill and I found a restaurant that I hadn't heard of.  So I followed the directions and although I did not find the one on my phone, it did find Bommers Bar & Grill.  

It is in a new strip mall behind walmart.  I have no idea how long it has been there, but my guess is no more than 6 months.  

TVs all over the place, a nice little bar area and several tables to pick from.   The waitress came over and took our drinks and offered my daughter a coloring book.  She was much more excited than I was because I knew I was going to end up coloring with her because she has me wrapped around her finger.

I ate a reuben and Brooklyn had a cheeseburger.  We had some chips and salsa for an appetizer.  All pretty average bar food, and nothing to brag about but good.  Atmosphere was great and I will definitely return.  I am very happy to see a place like this go up in Sullivan, it will be a great addition to an already slim selection of places to eat.
