The atmosphere and village feel is nice. Tin ceilings, the old brick oven in the back give this place character. I wish I could say the same about the food. Soups are not soupy, they are piled high with lots of macaroni. A cup of coffee and a Tuna Melt which was cold tuna mixed with mayonnaise, a slice of cheese and then grilled to nearly black, served with potato chips. The bill was $9.50. Come on, get some imagination. Burgers were reported to be good by my companions. There isn't much choice for places to eat, so I guess the thinking is, "why try?"

Popular eatery in the village, that does lots of lunch business, both take out and dine in too. The food is decent to good, but slightly over priced for what it is, basic American fare sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. served in average size portions. While the interior is still nicely kept for its age, appearing to be early 1900s based on the tile flooring and stamped metal ceiling, the glory days of the village have pasted and being in the place seems somewhat dated, like visiting ones Grandmother's. From what I am told the breakfasts are notably good. This is probably the best restaurant in the village. Not worth making a special trip to Clyde though.
