Been here many times and wrote a positive review. I came back recently after the name change hoping for an even better meal. I couldn't have been more disappointed the only change is a more boring menu, more expensive prices for the same meal, and they even changed the lettuce that made their salads so good. Food was good but way too expensive for what you get. Brock is awesome, just not happy with the changes.
Review Source:We tried Broclee's / Pour House on a Sunday afternoon. The Pour House section wasn't open, so we sat at the bar on the Broclee's side. They have several taps with domestics like Coors Light, Bud Light, Blue Moon and Shock Top.
For appetizer, we ordered Portabella Fries. These are breaded, fried portabella mushroom pieces along with a bowl of regular fries. The portabellas were very dark and overcooked, fries were mushy, probably wouldn't order this again.
For dinner, we ordered the Philly Burger with sweet potato fries & Pork Brisket with onion strings. The pork was tender but bland & probably needed sauce. Onion strings were excellent. Long story short - philly burger came out wrong with nothing on it but meat patty, cheese & bun, mistake by the kitchen, waitress wouldn't pay enough attention to understand it was wrong & manager didn't fix the situation. At the end, the manager came over and just laughed the whole thing off, made a big joke out of it.
I'm easy to please when it comes to restaurants, but our whole experience was ridiculous and could've easily been fixed. Bill was $51 (before tip) for 2 beers each, appetizer, and two entrees. We are always in search of a good place to eat & get a beer after golf on Sundays but doubt we'll be back here.
