  The beer was cold & that's good on a beautiful 78 degree day! The service was very good as well. The food? Not so much! Hamburger sliders were OK but far from great. The Potato skins were way over cooked and come without cheese. They were filling but not flavorful. Stick with the beer, pass on the food.

  I've eaten at the Broken Spoke several times now, last evening we ate dinner there and ordered steaks.  My wife's fillet came out and looked great and she enjoyed it.  I ordered the 12oz ribeye and while not the best looking ribeye I'd ever been served, it tasted very good.  My sister and brother-in-law were dining with us, she ordered the fried shrimp and gave ti a thumbs up.  He ordered a ribeye and liked it also.  I knocked two stars off because the dining room was not busy when we entered and they sat us at a table right next to a large party that were having cocktails and talking loudly.  The staff needs to be more customer oriented toward seating other diners away from large noisy parties when seats are available.

  If your idea of over priced food and stale warm draft beer is awesome, well this is the place for you. A lot of people were drinking bottle beer and seemed pleased but the draft beer was a joke stale, practically flat and ewww warm. After we looked over the over priced menu we settled on an appetizer of fried cheese which I must admit was great but we will not be going back.

  This restraint is just ok  the service was the slowest I have ever gotten and the prices are WAY TO HIGH. I ordered the nightly special with two other people at the table. We all three got served at three different times the first person was done eating when the third person was served.  I would never go back and would recommend you find some place else to eat.

  considering the options in the pickwick area, i'd return to the broken spoke.  first of all the owner is a fantastic guy.  he's practically worth paying a whole meal for just to shoot the shit with him.  the steaks are alright.  i wasn't blown away by anything, but the fried pickles and fried onion rings were pretty phenomenal - and i'm not a huge fan of either and these were top notch.  everything else seemed like good ol' southern country food.
  
  you go more for the atmosphere and the experience than the food.  at least you can get drunk there if the food isn't that great.

  WAY OVER PRICED!!! Food is ok but, not near worth the price. Service is slow. One side is a pizza joint and other is white tablecloth dining room. Same menu for both. Save your money. Only enriching owner by eating here. Someone needs to open some competition in Counce.

  Service was a bit slow but the cold beer and Tennessee hospitality outweighs the negative aspects of this joint.....if you want a steak this is the joint for you.....but OMG.....expensive......Texas de Brazil expensive.
