  Was here just yesterday! GREAT GREAT BBQ!!! had the Brisket plate, Brisket was perfect. nice smoke flavor and was not over cooked like alot of bbq places tend to do, the best cole slaw i've ever had! and i rarely like eating cole slaw, Fries were great you can acually taste the Patatoes and not just grease, beans were awsome and not killed with sauce, the BBQ sauce was to Die for, vinager base sauce so it's nice and light, not thick. BBQ was so good that i had to take slab of ribs to go, the bark was the best part of the ribs, no need for sauce the meat was full of flavor. if your passing through DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP!!! nice little joint. THIS IS REAL BBQ

  Although not a lot to look at from the street, don't let this little hole in the wall Louisiana Barbeque joint fool you.  I've been here a couple times for work and have been satisfied each time.  Charlie's Special with taters is simply something that should not be pased up if you like a sandwich with spicy sausage, slaw & Louisiana Barbeque sauce.  Highly recommended if you're passing through Joseph City on I-40 and are looking for some good ol barbeque.
