From what I saw in this little town, this is one of the few places to eat out period. That does not discount the quality of food though! If you're ever by Cathedral Caverns, turn left where Cave Rd ends and it's on the left.
I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and pickles. The slaw is vinegar-based, but has a purple color as well AND they throw a little carrot into the mix. YUM! The sweet sauce has the tiniest bit of bite for people like me who are sensitive to hot sauces.
They offer rubs and sauces by the bottle to take home. I should've gotten one....
This is an awesome little mobile BBQ trailer located in Grant, Alabama.
Found it after we visited the Cathedral Caverns and decided to drive into Grant to see what was there.
It's a weird mix of Southern BBQ and Cajun food. Â By that I mean there is BBQ here, and there is cajun food. Â I sampled the pulled pork sandwich, some slaw, and a budday dog. Â The budday dog was a hot dog with slaw, baked beans, pork, pickles, and sauce. Â It was awesome and unlike anything I had had before. Â Super good tea and lemonade along with a bunch of other ice cold drinks.
Friendly owner and staff. Â Beautiful little spot on top of a mountain. Â One of the best out of the way BBQ finds I've had.
