Went about two weeks ago with family friends. Â They had 5 boys under the age of 13 so they were all about some Buffalo Wild Wings. Â It's what you would think in terms of a good sports bar, only thing lacking is some astro turf under your feet. Â Flat Screens everywhere and interactive trivia games on the wall.
Only problem was the quality of my food, waitress was not very well trained and couldn't give me suggestions on what kind of wings I wanted. Â Went for the garlic wings which were midway up the heating chart. Â Not as much garlic and heat as salt, extremely salty. Â So much so that I could barely finish them. Â
I think the children enjoyed it and the atmosphere was good, looks like I'll try to a little more research if I ever go to a BWW again.
I travel to Tupelo for business and it is nice to see they finally have a decent place to watch sports. Tupelo lives and breathes sports so the BWW is great for the community. I went there last night and you are welcomed by that warm southern accent. The staff looks to be high school students and are very bubbly. If this BWW was in a bigger town I probably would give it 3 stars but I am rating it based on relativity. The food is typical BWW food. Nothing great but nothing terrible. The crowd was very enthusiastic even though there wasn't a game on. People just seem so happy to have a place with more that 15" tvs at the bar. The restaurant has only been open a few weeks so they still have some bugs to work out but overall I think the people of Tupelo will continue supporting this restaurant.
