Stopped by B Dubs (Texas nickname) before heading to the movies. I'm a wings fan and they make some mighty fine wings. We had the Caribbean Jerk, Asian Zing, and Honey BBQ. All flavors were great!. First time trying the Caribbean Jerk and it will definitely be one of my regular flavors. It has a little kick to it, spicier than Asian Zing. The beer was pouring nicely as always and the staff were friendly as usual. They seem to have a few TV's for sporting events, but I believe they need a few more to make it just right. There's no Hooters in town so this is the next best thing for some great sporting event grub. Stop on by for some good beer and wings!
Review Source:My favorite location! I love buffalo wild wings. I mean I really really love buffalo wild wings haha. For some reason this location really sticks out to me as my favorite so far. The wings are so dang good I cant get enough. My favorite flavor sauces are mango, wild, and jamin jalapeno. Well...at least right now they are. I often get stuck on one for awhile then change it up. If youre not in the mood for wings id go for the jack daddy burger. Also don't forget fried pickles and jalapeno poppers!
Review Source:I'll be back for more Mac N Cheese! It was simple and tasted great. Â I'm not a fan of the fancy macs you find at other sports bars. Â I like mine simple and tasty--this place delivered.
Friends are a huge fan of their wings and the options to choose. Â I want to go back and try the wraps, they looked really good but was stuffed off of appetizers. Â
Will go back for more!
We were sat at the first corner booth after you go in the restaurant through the main door and literally sat there for 15 minutes looking around for our server. Another party was sat at a booth across from us and they were greeted promptly. A female server went to the computer to ring in orders, saw us, and did nothing. She came back, texted on her phone, and stood around like an idiot. Finally, a little fed up, I asked her if we could get our server. She didn't apologize but instead seemed inconvenienced and said "yeah" before walking away. Who does that? A person who lacks competence and customer service skills apparently. Our server finally went to us after we had waited another 5 minutes for her. She doesn't greet us with a polite "Hello welcome to yadda yadda..." but instead she says "did you guys move from the bar?"...uh no genius we've been here for 15 minutes. We decided we didn't want her (whose name I'm not going to mention) to serve on us so we went to the bar-top where we knew we were going to get good service because the day bartender there is awesome. We should have just gone to her in the first place. Beware of stuck up broads that work at this place.
Review Source:Three of my friends and myself made a trip to Yuma to see a movie and eat. It was actually my first time at a BWW. I guess it was happy hour when we arrived and we got our beers for a very fair price, nice way to start the trip.
The mild wings were good, a little spicy for my taste but I still liked them. One of my buddies ordered the pretzels, and after making fun of him we all apologized because they were surprisingly good.
Service is very important me, and I have nothing bad to say. We were greeted upon arrival and departure by the host, and the waitress was friendly and kept our drinks full.
The atmosphere was great, televisions all over playing all types of sports and the bar noise, even during a Monday night football game, was never overwhelming or distracting. Overall, good wings, cheap beer prices, and good service. Good Job!
First time to try Buffalo Wild Wings after seeing their commercials on TV for the past several years. Â We went with a party of 5 and 3 of us just ordered wings (and we are BIG wings fans.) Â The wings overall were a big hit and we tried several flavors. Â The "hot" wings were hot, but were excellent. Â The honey BBQ were good and the buffalo were excellent. Â Service wasn't anything great, but the interior is nice and has TVs everywhere!
Review Source:If you've been to one B dubs you've been to them all. Â My last 3 apartments happen to be a block away from a BWW. Â
Service: Â The usual. Â The ladies behind the bar seem to have a bit of an attitude.
Food: Â Wings are not that great but when I do order them I get the dry rub desert heat. Â I like that their new menu has calorie amount posted, not that people in Yuma really care about calories. Â Also, more salad options which I like. Â Beer of the month is around $3.
Atmosphere: Â Always crowded, standing room only during game times. Â Fridays, the place is filled with military folks. Â I prefer Brewers for game time.
3rd time is the charm ! Have tried to go to this location a couple of times and its always super busy! Line out the front door and bar filled to capacity. No difference this time just sucked it up and put my name on the list. She said 30 to 35 mins even though I saw multiple empty tables?
Well , under 10 mins later we were at are table, Ha !
Inside giant space , warehouse type atmosphere, 20 foot or higher ceilings and TVs anywhere and everywhere, even in the bathroom . Large bar area in the back and around the bar area is a massive dining area, there is also outside seating, but in Arizona and the high temps would never sit on the patio.
Have a large selection of sauces form BBQ to Blazin! You have two types traditional wings or boneless wings. 6 of either were $6.19 Â and come with any sauce , carrot/celery and blue cheese or ranch.
Went with 12 boneless you can get split them and get two different sauces , I got Hot ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_… ) and Asian zing( http://www.yelp.com/biz_… ). They had 22 oz Budweiser's for $3 hell yeah.
Got my 12 wings and the give you a side of blue cheese for each, and plenty of carrots/celery, no skimping here. Asain zing sweet tasty sauce no real heat. The hot for being the 4th hottest on the menu was the level of hotness of most wings I have had. The boneless wings were cooked prefect , nice and crispy . Only problem with the boneless is the size compared to the price a buck a piece , for nugget sized balls, not the longer strip sized pieces.
When back on Saturday and sat at the bar , got lucky. Got 6 wings with Wild sauce 2nd hottest sauce . Wings were cooked just right , sauce was hotter good flavor to the sauce, but normal hotness.
So decided to take on the Blazin sauce there hottest sauce "you better be ready for Blazin" . My buddy I was with (when he was wasted ) got 12 before and said he was sweating and crying a little bit when he ate them a couple of years ago!
They came out I took a smell and could smell the hotness, they are supposedly 300,000 scoville units . First one down has a distinct taste, kinda earthy, burn taste , not a great or bad taste indifferent. Some burn with the first and by the fourth there was a deep burn in the back of my tongue and down my throat. Didn't start sweating or have and heart problems , but uncomfortable and felt like a match is being put out on my tongue after a few ! Plenty hot and only went away after 20 mins and a whole beer, Ha. That been said , I thought it would be hotter, but glad it wasn't!! Dug in to fast here is the remnants.( http://www.yelp.com/biz_… )
BWW is a great place to hang out and watch their ridiculous amount to TVs and have some above average wings . The Santee location just broke ground , will be in my opinion the first real sports bar in the Santee area. Read the Santee location would be open December 2012 , just in time for Christmas!!!
Wings are good, and fresh, not soggy at all a nice pleasant crunch. Food is not the issue but the service. As a customer you should not have to be the one to break the ice with a server they are rude here and standoffish. The servers start you out as if you are an inconvenience just by being there, not a comfortable environment because of this as it was not busy at all . I love BWW's been to many of them and this one by far has the worst staff, poor leasership that seems lazy and not involved. Got dirty silverware, and napkins that had obviously been moved from table to table because they had sauce on them, the menus are sticky and have sauce on them too and that is just nasty. I use to frequent this place a few years ago, and absolutely loved it great memories there. My job takes me back to Yuma, cant wait to hit up my old spot and it sucks now, not cool at all. Poor service at lunch hour...about 1pm, went back the following weekend for dinner around 7pm just to give it another chance and it was still the same. Â It could be a great place, nice selction of beers on tap, good setup lots of sports on every screen good wings, but crappy staff. I guess the only thing the staff did for me that was good is that they allowed me to save money on no tip.
Review Source:Cheladas aka Chabelas are the best here.
Wings are good as long as you ask for them extra crispy. I like the teriyaki sauce the most but my family prefers the Asian zing.
As far as service it's always hit or miss here as most places in Yuma. I wish business owners would provide better customer service training to all their employees.
Overall great place to hang out with friends or family.
The music was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other - we had to yell at each other.
The service was very slow and not very friendly. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for our appetizer (some warm nachos with some salsa that tasted like the stuff you can buy in any store - blend as hell) which made us leave right after it since we didn't wanna wait another 40 minutes for the entree...
Maybe a great place if you wanna watch some sport events and have a couple drinks, but don't go here if you're really hungry cause you'll starve while waiting for your order!!
We won't come back for dinner - like I said - maybe for a drink or so but that's it!
Well, after having heard many people RAVE about this place, we finally ate here yesterday...and I have to admit, I was pretty excited because I love chicken wings, but then again, who doesn't right? Well, there was about a 20 minute wait, even though there were A LOT of empty tables, which was a little puzzling, but whatever. Once we were seated the waiter took our order, I only had wings and my wife had chicken strips, ribs and a side of onion rings. The service was prompt and polite and our food was out surprisingly fast. The wings were good, but nothing fancy. In fact all of the food we had was good and the service was fine... the price was pretty much as expected. Did we enjoy our meal, yeah I guess so. Am I looking to eat here again, not really. In fact, if you want some awesome chicken wings, try em' at Famous Dave's, trust me, you won't be disappointed. Come to think of it, we should have just gone to Famous Dave's... C'est la vie.
Review Source:Not a bad Buffalo Wild Wings. Food was good and service was good. Nothing too crazy. A good place to go and hang with the peeps. If you like to play the trivia game or poker on the TV, the controllers that BWWs gives you run out of batteries pretty frequently. Â I reccommend using your smart phone and downloading the buzztime ap and just playing on that.
Review Source:Love the wings. Mango habanero please!
HANDS DOWN THE WORST SERVICE IN YUMA!!!
There were like 47 kids working there and not one gave exceptional customer service. Seriously I can't even explain it. They ignored me. In a hurry, I talked to one girl saying I'm there to pick up my order for pick up.she says okay and walks in the back, never to be found again.then another girl comes up 5 min later and helps some family that came in AFTER me. Wtf? She didn't even ask if I had been helped yet.
If you guys are reading this, you really really need to step it up.I'm not the only one that thinks your staff blows. There are many hard working people out there looking for jobs that could do a better job. I say the manager should fire the whole staff and rehire all new people. On the real.
We loved it here. We were out in AZ for a few months. Â We usually ate in but when eating out, you'd usually find us at Buffalo Wild Wings, In-N-Out, Golden Corral, or EAT Asian Super Buffet.
The thing is, I love hot wings and I just can't seem to get them hot enough. Â
I'd always get the hottest one...but the hottest one just wasn't hot enough for me. Â
I saw Buffalo Wild Wings in CA but never went in because there were so many other non-chain places that specialized in hot wings. Â Having gone in and tried their food, I'd go back.
I love this place!
Yes it IS loud. Yes it can be busy and roudy. But the wings are awesome (my fave is the boneless in the Caribbean Jerk sauce) and the atmosphere is good.
I go out for a good time, and I just want to eat, drink and relax with friends... I am never rushed here, and its as laid back as it gets. My kind of sports bar.
.. und das ist nach der Kritiker
The wings make any true wing lover/sport bar fan..extremely happy.
There can be a bit of a wait at this place, as there are tons of tv's aimed at viewers of all sports, professional and collegiate.
That's actually another reason I enjoy this place. The atmosphere serves all faucets of sports entertainment, as oppose to mainstream football, basketball, etc. I even found a few televisions playing the news. They keep their market open to a wider crowd. The bar makes for good seating while waiting for a legitimate table.
The wings are really the centerfold (hence the name), so to me, coming here and ordering anything but wings is ridiculous. If you're looking for a review on salads, check out some Thai restaurants in the area...because this isn't one of those reviews.
The wings here are phenomenal. I find it hard to beat both (a personal fave), the ultimate classy Hooters, or my homemade wings. These wings definitely run a close tie or even beat both Hooters and my personal recipe on a regular basis.
The Mango Habanero is a hot marinade that is tasty for the adventurous wing eater. It also provides that citrus taste for those who don't want to compromise taste for heat. The Parmesan Garlic is an absolute must for both first timers and seasoned wingers. Just be prepared with mounds of spearmint gum! Classic Buffalo and Honey BBQ are also a win, especially if you're with little ones. Try these if you're new to the place, or eating with a group of friends. It's a promise that your friends will think your a wing connoisseur by the mere suggestion the previously mentioned chicken delicacies. Of course, there are numerous other marinades and flavors that I have not mentioned.
Oh yeah, and if you fall in love with a certain flavor, you can take a bottle of it home with you! Added bonus!
If you're particular about your seating then this wouldn't be the place for you, straight from the get go. Your service is made up of mostly semi-attractive military wives, and the bar will most likely be filled with tons of Marines. But the atmosphere stays light, happy, and the service is friendly and genuine.
Buffalo wild wings is a great place to hang out with friends and eat. Right after you watch a movie at harkins you can just walk straight over to buffalo wild wings and get a good meal.
They have television screens everywhere to watch the game, UFC, or just to play virtual poker on the buzztime controllers. They do have music, they play music videos on some of the screens which plays throughout the restraunt. It can get pretty loud in there though.
They also have a bar area. You can either choose to sit at a regular table, a booth, or in the bar area (kids not allowed in bar area)
Personaly, my favorite wing sauce is "spicy garlic".
It's just so scrumptious and yummy! Sometimes after karate on Thursdays I go to buffalo wild wings to eat with my dad and relax.
I believe that on Thursdays boneless buffalo wings are 50 cents.
Well all together, they have great food, pretty food service. Just a great place to eat and hang with buds, friends, family, etc.
I've been a fan of BW3's for years (they were once known as "Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck") and love their specials (44 cents wings on Tuesday and 55 cents for boneless wings on Thursday at this location). Â
As some others said, [aside from the wing specials] their regular prices are a little high for what they offer, and the service at this particular branch tends to be slow. But, the patio is nice (minus the smell of cigarette smoke), and the bar-area is also loaded with flat-screens. They also have a nice selection of beer on tap.
Best draft beer list in town that I saw, and this one surely beats the famous "Burgers & Beer" establishment a few miles away. Â However, this is the hip area to be in Yuma down by the new shops, movie theatre, etc. Â Crowd varied from young families with infants, overserved 20-something kids, and middle-aged overweight blue collar folks who can't take their eyes off the young waitresses. Â Atmosphere is this huge, airy & spacious room with many TV's and loud music. Prices are reasonable. Â Service looks like it varies a lot from table to table, or stool to stool for that matter.
Review Source:To start, I think all Buffalo Wild Wings are mediocre at best. Â They are very clean and feature many big screen TVs. Â Their chicken wings are not bad, but they are definitely overpriced. Â Appetizers the same. Â They use their sports bar theme to jack up the price and lower their service standards.
This location, in particular, fits the above description. Â I have visited twice and had similar experiences both times. Â The most recent was on a Saturday and the waiter greeted us by laying down the house rules. Â We sat at the only table available, but since there were only three of us we were not allowed to sit at a 6 place table. Â I told him we planned to blow a lot of money, but if he would rather us leave we could find someplace better. Â This issue was brought up on several occasions before the rest of our 8 person party arrived. Â We were actually told that we had 10 minutes to come up with additional bodies. Â Needless to say, I was not impressed with this greeting. Â I was hoping to watch football, but they put UFC on almost every TV in the restaurant. Â Then, they turned the volume up so loud we couldn't yell at each other.
I think the only reason people frequent BW3s is because there isn't any place else to go.
Even though this place is a franchise and the service isnt great...it takes forever to get a drink and its really overpriced. If you are here with a group its a blast. The chairs suck so sit outside where you can drink, smoke and people watch. plus you can still the football score or watch the MMA fights they play here.
The down side..You better come early and save a seat or be prepared to not get in. once people come for the fight or game they dont leave. but if you get there early or get hooked some how its a blast a great way to start the night off with food and drinks and than hit up a real bar.
Service is beyond horrible. Â Even when the place is empty and there are a half dozen servers just standing around talking to each other we had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be seated! Â Then another 15 before anyone came to take our order. Â Then the order was messed up and they charged us the wrong amount, though thankfully it was less than what we should have been charged. Â Food was ok, nothing special but the service was so bad I can't remember the food ... just the poor service.
Against our better judgment we went back for a second try. Â Service was a little quicker but still horrible. Â Food was equally forgettable - standard wing joint fare. Â
Friends who still go there say the service hasn't gotten any better so we have no plans on returning.
the service here is absolutely horrible!!!!! my brother's girlfriend approached the hostess to ask her how far are we on the waiting list, and the girl just ignored her! we understood that they were busy, but at least acknowledge that she was there...we were waiting there for 40 mins and saw 3 to 4 tables that have not been cleaned and have been vacant for the last 20 mins...the waitress/busser would look at it, and then not do anything. she wasn't even approaching her own tables for a good while or so. i'm giving this place 3 stars because the chicken is awesome!!!! if it weren't for their stuck up hostesses and waitresses, it'd def. be 4 or 5 stars. it's too bad the service sucks!!!
Review Source:First of all, I love that this was in the database. Second, I LOVE BUFFALO WILD WINGS. I've been frequenting all the Hooters of America on this cross country tour/job, and I'll be honest...the wings at BW3s are just better. I don't think this B Dubs is anything special in comparison to a different one in America, but when our bus pulled into the parking lot of this beautiful mall in the middle of nowhere on the I-8, I couldn't have been more excited!
Sauce Recommendations: Asian Zing, Spicy BBQ, Mango Habanero
Drink to Match: Blue Moon (squeeze the orange and then drop it in)
