Showed up on a Friday night about 7:45pm and found out that you just stand around and watch for a table to open up. We joined a family at their table and everything was just fine - friendly people who didn't mind sharing their space with us.
We ordered drinks and our meals and spent about $50, so we felt that the price was fair.
My husband had the country fried ribeye and I had the smokehouse burger. They were excellent choices! We also had a side of fruit, which was the best fruit I've ever had as a side order. It was all fresh and very crisp. I felt like they kept it all separate until they brought it to the table - which is the way every good restaurant should do it. We also tried their fried chips, which were were sweet potatoes and were nice and crispy - definitely worth ordering.
The entertainment started at 8:45 and actually proved to be enjoyable.
We were very glad that we took the time to drive there and would certainly return!
Good bar at a great resort.
Clay the cowboy is the house band, and does a lot of cover song favorites
They have added a new act, a lounge singer during happy hour that is pretty comical, he looks like rod stewart. Â I guess I just think lounge singers are comical, he actually does a fine job.
This place is a welcomed oasis from the family or with the family for food and drinks at big cedar.

The food is ok and fine for a poolside meal. But the indoor Buzzard Bar needs some fly control and a deep cleaning. I usually can easily overlook the interior of a restaurant or bar if the food is great, but the food and service were just ok, so how can you not overlook the rest. I would certainly eat outdoors by the pool, but if I were to eat indoors, I would go upstairs the the Devils Pool Restaurant before indoors at the Buzzard Bar.
