C J's Pizzeria

Second worst pizza I have ever had.  But, we're from NY so we might be a bit harsher critics!  And, I have had some good out of state pizza, just not here.  The service is also non-existent.  I was not impressed.  You have to seat yourself.  There were no clean tables.  I asked if they could clear one.  We were told to go sit at one of the dirty ones.  So, we just got it to go at that point.  We ordered a pizza and the topping are listed as $1 per topping. Okay, so I asked for meatballs which is pretty standard. The girl told us the total and it was a few dollars more than it should have been.  So I asked why, and she said "oh, meatballs count as three toppings! Smile!"

Now, this place is not expensive and I am not cheap, but the idea of this really rubbed me the wrong way especially since she only told me this only after I asked.

The pizza itself was just bad pizza.  The cheese even tasted different on different sliced!  Do yourself a favor and buy some frozen pizza.

I did like the very friendly cat that was stretched out on a table on the deck out back.

Oh, they only take cash.

i like going to cj's! everything is very hearty and cheap. the dinner salad come loaded with meat and cheese and mushroom or whatever else you want and are a real meal.

the pizza has lots of cheese and whatever toppings you order - so much so that i usually pick some toppings off. but it's nice to have that option. one thing about their crust is that it's a little underdone. personally, i like it a little doughy rather than too crispy but i can see if not everyone does.

i also like their wings because they have old bay wings. i was recently introduced to old bay and i've decided it's probably good one most things but definitely the wings.

also, get their parm dough, which is their breadsticks. they are very tasty with dipping sauce.

service is always friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. i think it used to be a regular house. there are school pictures and newspaper clippings and other personal things under the glass on the tables to look at when you eat. sometimes they have other things cards from trivia board games. overall, just a good and fun place grab a meal.
