I've passed Cafe 32 many, many times but hadn't been there until today. It's in a  teeny town, and in a teeny-looking building that isn't particularly fancy on the outside. Once you get inside, however, it's cozy enough in a simple kind of way, and probably has a bit more room than you'd think. I stopped there with a group for breakfast, and we were immediately seated and waited. Our waitress was efficient, especially in dealing with 8 ladies on a breakfast order (breakfast orders always entail so many specifications). I had the Hunter's Breakfast, which is basically the menu regular Big Breakfast with an added cup of sausage gravy. It was a lot of food for a good price, and mostly pretty good. My over-easy eggs were a bit slimier than I would prefer, but everything else tasted great...bacon, sausage, gravy (my God, just writing these food items that I've ingested makes me wonder if I should have ordered a rib spreader as well) and especially good sourdough toast. My friend had the hash, which was a very generous portion and looked very tasty.Their menu was pretty impressive, with lots of interesting options. I'd probably try the breakfast burrito next or the Greek omelet, both of which I've heard are really good.

One from Southeast Michigan, I find myself frequenting the Northern parts of the state for easy getaways. Recently my destination was Boyne City. It's around a 5 hour drive from Detroit.About 45 minutes from my destination, we noticed this small little dingey diner type looking joint. As hungry as we were, it really didn't matter the risk we were about to partake on. To my amazement, this was the best risk I have ever ventured on when it comes to food and I loved it. I love little dinery "looking" hole-in-the wall type places that fool me when it comes to food. The sign said "Fish Friday's" and my stomach said "yes". The neat thing was, there wasn't just one type of fish. The selection ranged from fresh Cod, Michigan Perch, to Meditraninian Walleye dish which consisted of fresh vegetables from the garden out back and kalamatta olives sauted in a lemony buttery type sauce. It really heightend the flavors of a perfectly cooked Walleye with a nice crunch on the bottom and a soft delicate center. Lets not forget the fresh cut fries doused with malt vinegar which I choose to add. I also had to order a salad because of the fact the tomatoes were from the garden out back and they had a Gorgonzola Vinagerette, a dressing I have never heard of.In conclusion, I rate this little Gem a 5 outa 5 stars.. It's success in the future of Cafe 32 will just alone be based on word of mouth if they stay as consistant as the experience I had. It's a must stop concluding a long drive to the Traverse City, Boyne mountain area of Michigan. I plan on stopping again on the way back south.
