Started with roasted pepper with smoked  gouda bisque...good taste. The Caesar salad was ok. I had the lemon chicken with a side of linguine. Shoulda had the baked potato as a side as the linguine did not mesh with it. My bad.  The 3D chocolate cake was very disappointing and left me wishing I hadn't ordered it. Service was quick and friendly.
Review Source:This is probably my favorite restaurant in CNY. I LOVE the chicken riggies!!! They are not the creamy, cheesy type you might be used to. Rather they are in a lighter white wine tomato sauce which is DELICIOUS!!! It comes with a great big starter salad with a house balsamic dressing. Worth the higher price for the big portion and great flavor. The restaurant is small and gets crowded / noisy around prime dinner times, so plan accordingly if you don't want to wait. The other food is amazing as well. I love the creme brulee for dessert!
Review Source:Been coming for years with my parents. Go-to spot for burgers and riggies. So naturally, when I'm back in town, I want to bring my girlfriend (who is not from the area) to try riggies and have some of the areas best grub.
The food is always delicious and the portion size is great when your stomach is rumbling.
My girlfriend and I found that when we come here without my parents (known regulars) we do not receive the same level of service. The same faces that I remember smiling and being attentive when I was younger, are now unsmiling and inattentive. I guess THEY don't recognize ME. We assume it is because we don't get bar drinks and therefore the tip will be less. **THIS EXCLUDES MEL WHO IS ALWAYS AMAZING.**
Aside from the second class service I get when I'm not with my parents, this place is a must try!
The food was fantastic as usual but the service was lackluster. Our waitress was not our usual one, she never gave us flatware and napkins, we had to grab them ourselves off of another table. We never got bread either. She also hit one of my pet peeve's which is picking up two glasses with one hand by putting her dirty fingers in them. As I watched, she brought them to the bar and refilled them! Ok so enough negativity, the food is always awesome and the service is usually outstanding! This is a great family owned restaurant in the Utica area!

OK, it's a basically a tavern with a small but lively bar and a small dining room. Â I travel in rather out-of-the-way places in the tropics, so I am not put off by this type of environment, and you shouldn't be, either. Â I called ahead and was told they were not busy. Â No wait, only one other patron at 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday night.
The food IS amazing! Â The portobello mushroom appetizer IS to die for! Â The Veal Romano is outstanding. Â Next time I will try their Greens.
Melissa, the waitress, is a true pro. Â She timed everything perfectly so that there was ample time to enjoy the mushrooms before dinner was served.
Oh, and they make a damn good Dirty Martini as well!
The price was right. Â Excellent value for outstanding cuisine.
This restaurant topped the four I visited on this trip to Utica, and I will be sure to go there again when I am back in the area.
My friend and I had about a 25-minute wait here, but it was totally worth it. Their grump burger was delicious, as well as their chicken riggies. Their portions were very large, which is always nice. Our waitress wasn't very attentive but overall we had a good experience at Del Buono!
Review Source:Del Buono is one of those places that you can take a friend and be absolutely certain that they're going to be complimenting you on your choice after dinner, every time. Set across the street from the mall, the moment you walk in you're overwhelmed by noise and people. Just...people. Standing right in front of you. Behind you. All around you. It's definitely the smallest dining room and bar I've ever been in.
Their italian fare is some of the best in CNY, and they don't skimp on the portions. Plan on taking home some leftovers. One of my favorite dishes is their Vodka Riggies - a twist on the traditional Chicken Riggies, but with a vodka cream sauce and prosciutto instead of chicken. Rich as can be, but oh so good.
Service is impeccable. Melissa is without a doubt the friendliest, most welcoming waitress I've ever come across. Not only that; she's just plain GOOD. We're talking, remember what kind of beer you like down to your favorite salad dressing-type good. Think of her more like your own private chef. She can recommend what she think you'd like if you're having trouble deciding off the menu, and chances are it'll fit pretty well with your tastes.
Yeah it's small. Yeah it's noisy. Yeah it's popular. Why? Food and service. Hit this gem now.
I personally think this is the best place in this area to get a meal. Every thing is homemade and at a great price. I eat hear at least once a week (more like 3 times) and every day there are new and delicious specials. Awesome Italian food and the best Burgers in the area. You have to eat here.
