Camacho's is a very enjoyable family restaurant and for the small town of Wellington it is great!
Every Friday night is the busiest with the local auction going on across the street so expect a little bit of wait time, but it is understandable and well worth it for the food. The staff are always nice to greet guest and will try and accommodate you in any way that they can.
It is definitely worth trying something new every time you go in or if you find something you enjoy no problems in sticking with it. If you want a quick bite to eat it is out in no time at all, prepared just as it is supposed to be. You can always grab some Margaritas or a few brews and enjoy eating chips and salsa as well as an appetizer if you choose.
My recommendation for Camacho's Green Chile, if you don't eat Jalapenos whole try the Hot before ordering it, it has just the right kick that can take your breathe away if you are not ready for it. Stick with the Medium which still has a mellow kick but digestible and agreeable to those that want some heat but not set on fire.
The Tamale's are some of the best around and the food is always fresh and does not taste like it has been sitting like most restaurants, oh wait that is because it hasn't!

So if you are up around Wellington, stop by check it out and recommend it to your family and friends. Or if you want some take out- stop in or call in, order, pick it up and enjoy it in the park, at home, or even for the boss buys the employees business lunch day!

Hours are from Mon-Thurs 10-8 and Fri & Sat 10-9 might be open a little later on Fridays depending on business ;)

We have eaten here and bought take out a number of times. The food is good.  I come from a small town with a number of taco trucks and Mexican restaurants, so I have come to expect a certain standard.  I would say, they could use a little bit more fresh, as in veggies and such, ingredients.  But all in all, pretty good.  My two year old loves their beans and rice.  Don't be fooled though...they don't always trust you, if you ask for it to be spicy.  If you want some heat, be serious about it; tell them you want the sweat pouring down your face.  You want some spice.  They didn't believe me the first few times we ate there.  Guess I don't look the part of a heat loving patron.

I love this place! Food is served fast and always good. Love the green chile, but last time I had the steak tacos. They were great, my new fav. My daughter loves the soapapillas and don't forget the flan.

We got here a few minutes before they wanted to close and the owner (I think) looked pretty tired and not excited about seating us, but was gracious and sat us. There was one other table whom had just received their food. The young man who served us provided great service. He was friendly, smiled often and totally on top of our drinks and food. The food was very good. I enjoyed the salsa as well as the marinated pulled pork tacos. Now that m parents live near by, we will be sure to return.

Ok so I was skeptical but it was pretty good.  Got the flaunta plate and it tasted just like every other one I have had.  We also tried the burrito and were very pleased with the portion size.  Skimpy on the chips and salsa they bring out when you sit down but its free so.  Stay away from the "chili con queso", it has no chili and would be better off on movie theatre nachos.  Very friendly and attentive staff for a Friday night.  Over all, 4/5.

This is my son's favorite place to eat. Definitely try the David's burrito.

Loved Comanchos! I went here on two occasions recently and had a cheese enchilada, burrito(with tasty green chile) and taco one time and a taco salad the other time I was up in Wellington. I loved the two kinds of margaritas I had during these occasions and loved them but boy were they strong! I am a lightweight though. I know there are not many restaurants in Wellington but this one is one of my favorites and is worth the drive for me because I live on the east side of Fort Collins and it would be well worth my time to have a meal here. Great service and food!

The Camacho family has a great restaurant in Wellington with excellent food, great prices and a friendly atmosphere.

Their green chile and margaritas are awesome and their crispy rellenos are delicious. Their combination platters are a great value with excellent selection. I have tried all of the combinations and specialty meals except the mole and have enjoyed them all. My daughter-in-law fell in love with the fajitas!

Salsa, yes, the have great salsa . . . probably better than 95% of of that at other Mexican restaurants I have tried.

I believe it is worth taking a trip to Wellington to experience Mexican food like mama use to make it!

Good quality and excellent decor. What a great local place. The big chains should take heed and look to a place like this for inspiration in food. (but I am sure they wont).

The green chile was really good (get the extra spicy version--YOW). And everything seemed real fresh. The pork tacos (pork, cilantro, white onion and hot corn tortilla) is simple, pure and excellent.

The soapapillas are huge and hot and everyone loved them.

Forget Fort Collins (my hometown by the way) and head up to Wellington for some great food. There is also a park 1 block away for the kids to play at.

The staff and lady at the front counter were very nice and helpful.

I've eaten here about 3 times already and have enjoyed large portions, great green chilie and delicious margaritas. If you're heading north on I-25 stop off here for an inexpensive meal  that will fill you to the brim. I've had the soapillas, rellanos and burritos. Loved them all! I want to test everything on the menu!

Overall a good value.  Typical Mexican restaurant-in-a-box selection, but the food is good and the portion size is large.  It would be interesting if there was any competition in this tiny town.
