Camino Real Mexican Restaurant Grill

While we were in NC visiting my wife's family I had the craving for some Mexican food. So a bunch of got together after church and went to Camino's. Now I know nothing of the place and neither did Yelp. Yea Yelp is not well known down here in the town of Beulaville , I know it's hard to believe. Now we arrive here and the parking lot is right full, that's a good sign. As we walk in the Hostess station is empty, but not for long as one of the waitress showed us to our table. As I look around the waitresses double as the hostess. As another couple arrived after we were seated the other waitress seated them. Anyway their menu states they are a small chain with several locations in NC. They also have a location in Virginia Beach. Now they have quite a few options on their menu, now I like a lot of choices. I must tell you we had a large party of 12 folks so this was going to be interesting. Because these two waitresses and one waiter were running around with orders like chickens with their heads cut off. So our waitress comes over and takes our drink orders from us and delivers our chips and salsa. The chips were nice and warm but I was disappointed in the salsa. It taste like it came out of the jar, you know like on TV " it came from New York City " not the greatest. Any way we all placed our orders, now don't expect me to remember everyone's order. I have a hard time just keeping up with myself, dang. I think I labeled most of the photos though. I myself ordered the fish tacos as I love fish. Well I decided to go wash my hands after handling the menus and stuff. That was a challenge getting there, someone mopped the floor with some greasy water. I think you could do some speed skating on that floor. But I made it back with out busting my a$$. The waitress is now bringing our food to the table and everyone's order was correct, what a great job. The rest of our group have never had fish tacos before, matter of fact never heard of them. I told ya these folks don't get out much, that is food wise I'm speaking about. My tacos were good but needed something to make them pop. I didn't want to use the hot sauce that is just to simple, then it struck me. The white cheese sauce my wife gets for her chips, so I pour a little on my tacos and BAM.....it gave it just what they needed. I'm not a big fan of having to put a sauce on my food. If they season it and cook it right it shouldn't need a dang thing on it. But I will give this place another go round next time I'm down. Now I can't speak for everyone else, but they said there food was good. You know I got a bunch of strange looks for taking pictures of everyone's food. So there you have it, dang this must be my longest review. This ain't like me look, I'm still rambling on.
