Have had consistent quality food since starting to come here regularly. Â I had been here years before with my folks. Â I find the food a bit pricey but the service is great, drinks are strong and my sirloin steak I get here has the best flavor compared with dozens of up north clubs. Â I can get a burger here at a decent price, pizza is not bad and we like the crab cakes and the pretzel rolls. Â Davenport potatoes are unbeatable. Â We like Jim the new owner. Â This is our go-to place up north. Â We have never had a bad experience.
Edit: I have been trying out the options on the salad bar, and I'm yet to find something I don't like. Â Pickled Herring (actually good!), egg salad, a pasta salad, cottage cheese...very good to have some options like this.
If you like green olives in your drinks, be sure you ask for one of their hand stuffed green olives. Â Also a delicious choice.
Well been there a few times. Nice place and food is usually good. Stopped in this weekend for dinner. Looks like they have new menu. Very pricey . Got the prime rib special queen cut. Not happy. Half was fat and what was not fat was kinda tough and sinewy. The dipping sauce was so salty I could not eat it. Have been coming here for years not sure I will return again. Maybe a bad night but......
Review Source:This was a great surprise. We had some challenges finding it on our snowmobiles but we were thrilled once we arrived. Great service. Nice bar and good drinks. Good salad bar. Most of our group had fish. My broiled walley was excellent. The blackened grouper was also very good. Great meal.
