For openers, I'm not generally a Carl's Jr. fan; while it has a nostalgic pang for me (about the only fast food we did with the parents growing up), their pricing the past few years seems on the high side.
But here, no matter. Â After running across to Ronald's place for the kid (she's not a happy star sort of child), the atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and the cashiers weren't a brood of bumbling twits (see related review).
We ordered and filled up the beverages at a well-stocked variety of sodas (12+ options), and opted to sit outside; fairly quiet. Â As they do, the order was brought out to us, the missus asked for ranch to go with lunch, and that was also brought back out to us. Â And done pleasantly to boot.
Overall a clean restaurant, staff were pleasant and helpful, and while I was admittedly not in a rush in any event to to drive the final 225 miles home, I'd have equally been fine lounging a bit more if this place was in my home town.
Never thought a fast food joint would please me enough to want to write a review but this place did. Â I was on a bus from LA to the Bay Area and we stop there for food, the casher Edgar, was so polite and courteous, you would have never thought there was like 50 ppl in line, there were like 2 other buses pulled up right behind ours. He was calm, cool, and very collected. I was impressed enough with him, but then Caleb handed me my tray at the table with the same level of amazing service. As I was leaving he opened the door for me and wished me a good day, I don't get this type of service at a regular restaurant, sure wasn't expecting this a fast food joint. Food was great, but their exceptional service was what left a lasting impression.
