I've been here twice ... I thought the first time was just a bad night. The second time I went I ordered spaghetti with meatballs, got a plate full of watery(enough that i could pour it into a cup) cold noodles with some sauce and had to ask for my food to be microwaved. They did bring new plate, still not hot but more palatable than the first plate, along with the meatballs they forgot. I have to say the meatballs had a great consistency and taste, but they had been exposed to air so long that the tops were dried out. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired as well and I'm not surprised that they had no patrons besides my party there on a beautiful Saturday evening.
Review Source:We stumbled upon Carmella's when we were driving along 81S and needed a place to stop for lunch. We really enjoyed our lunch here - the food was tasty, the space was lovely and Carmella was so very welcoming and nice. All the food was homemade, which is a really special treat when you are traveling on the road or really any time at all.
Review Source:This is our favorite in the area. Â There are great sandwiches and salads any time, but Carmella prepares two dinner specials that are always excellent. Â It is a sports bar on one side and a restaurant on the other with live music most weekends that is quite tasteful and good. Â For drinks she has a huge variety of beers (six on tap) and wines as well as excellent Italian sodas. Â You also won't go wrong with any of her homemade desserts. Â We have noticed several other "regulars" so you know the food is very good for continued repeats. Â We love food and this is the best around.
