Casa Serrano of Lake Havasu

Below avg at best. Tortilla soup is crap. Mole sucks. They bring tortillas out in a plastic bag fresh out of the microwave. I mean really? Rolled up plastic bag?

Excellent food, excellent service, what's not to like?
My wife and I had the chimichunga's for lunch, which came with rice and beans. The lunch was delicious, but what makes this place stand out is the fact that they brought chips and not one, not two, but THREE different dips. A mild salsa, a hot salsa, and a bean dip... All three were delicious.
The staff was very polite, and quick to bring out the chips and salsa, as well as take our orders and bring out our food. This place was recommended by another local to the area, and that recommendation was an absolutely great recommendation. If I'm in Lake Havasu in the future (which I'm sure I will be), I will definitely be stopping at this place for lunch or dinner.

Oh, forgot to mention. For desert we had the sopapias... nice, warm, fluffy pastries, coated with cinamon and sugar... Yummmmm

The only thing good about this place was the bill. The food was very bland and greasy. My husband put a ton of their hot sauce on his Chimi to give it some flavor and then was up much of the night with heartburn. I don't recommend for the food, but if you want a cheap meal and aren't concerned with flavor, this is the place to go.
