Not sure if it was just a really bad day for this place but here was my experience.  We went out for breakfast and thought we would try Casey's and it was not busy.  We were too late for breakfast so ordered some lunch.  My wife ordered a chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes and broccoli cheddar soup. The chicken tasted like a burnt tire and jerky would of been more tender, the potatoes were discolored like they were from the day before and they were cold. The soup was so thick it was more like a cream dip.  I had the deep fried salmon with Cajun dip and fries and the salmon was over fried, the fries were drying up my tongue due to so much salt and the dip was way too spicy (I generally love spicier the better).  We had to ask for napkins then had to ask later for silverware after our food arrived.  My wife could not even touch any more of her meal so when we told the waitress she said she would take it off the bill but did not offer to redo it or offer a different choice. Towards the end of the meal the waitress stated she wouldn't know what any of the meals taste like because she hadn't tried any of the meals.  The other problem with this restaurant is that the prices are what you would expect for a 5 star restaurant.  The only good thing we had was a side of cottage cheese

I'll preface this by saying I've worked in the bar/restaurant/music industry for many years, and this review comes from that perspective.

Our friends were having some drinks for their birthday so we decided to meet here. I walked in and was greeted by a blast of loud music from a live band. Though the band themselves sounded good, the setup was terrible. They were shoved in a corner, WAY too loud for the space, and the restaurant still had tables strewn all over so it was hard to even get to the bar.

Once at the bar, the "bartenders" seemed very frantic, even though there wasn't a crowd. I ordered 2 draft beers, and was then interrogated by the bartender as to whom the second drink was for. A simple, "Can I see some ID's please" would have been sufficient., as my wife was right next to me when I ordered. I was then served a slightly warm beer in a mug, as beer snobbish as it sounds, proper glassware is important, they did have pint glasses so I'm not sure why it came in a mug. Anyway, that was the only drink I had, the bartenders then had trouble finding my tab and I had to ask 3 times for my check.

My review on the interior. Not sure whoever decorated knows what they want out of this place. Though the bar has some high end looking light fixtures, the walls were very bare, had exposed wiring, left over tack strips from holiday decorations, and mounts that were missing the TV.  If it were supposed to be a dive bar, then maybe it would have worked but there was not a very good "feel" to the place. This was my first, and last time visiting this establishment.

This place has great food and great atmosphere. I have been twice so far and find a real neighborhood type of atmosphere with really good food. You cannot go wrong with any meal on the menu. Very reasonably priced and the service is amazing. I will go back several more times.

Great shrimp poboys and awesome sauces!   The owners have renovated the interior & created a great new space.  Fab location in a cute little town!
