I have to agree with Jason S. on his review. My boss recommended this place, and told me it was a little dive. Sometimes dives have the best food. I was told that the grouper was amazing, so that's what I ordered. Grouper and sweet potato fries. The fries were so good. The grouper was okay. The bartender was friendly and asked where we were from. She told us one of the owners owned a popular place in Atlanta. (Cant remember what she said).  There was a guitar player covering beachy songs and inbetween sets they played some good music. There was a wedding next door and all of the younger crowd came to the bar where we were. That's when things got really fun. We took shots with the Denver crowd but after a while we decided it was time to go. That was the highlight of this dive.

Called up ordered wings 2 different kind med hot and lemon pepper very good. Ordered a sausage and onion pizza was good for a Florida pizza. I  will come back. If you like a big meaty wing this is not for you a little on the small side but that is how I like my wings. Big wings seem to be rubbery.

If Jimmy Buffett were a zombie, and had a horde of zombie followers, this would be where they would hang out.

A lackluster restaurant that is the sole remaining provider of food for the Carillon Beach community, Castaways was where we ate the first night we stayed in the area for a visit.

First of all, the place is kind of decrepit and if you want to use the bathroom, you have to take an elevator to the second floor, where the remains of a nightclub is, and would be another fantastic place for a zombie showdown.

We got some seats outside where a guitar player was crooning beachy favorites, and we checked out the menu.  The kids entrees were fantastically expensive for what they were, ostensibly because they were served on a frisbee.  This makes sense, because the right answer would have been to toss the food on the frisbee into the lake.  The little guy got a cheese pizza that had to have come out of a freezer, and took longer to get to the table than anything else, even though the crust was still soft and doughy.

I got an ok fish sandwich and the wife went for a salad, both were 'meh'.  When we got the check, we kind of felt robbed considering what we had eaten.

    Skip it.
