We usually go on Friday or Saturday night for the best fried chicken and fried catfish. The food is home cooking including the pies & cake. it is excellent. The entertainment is local people playing mostly country and bluegrass music with a little gosple. it's the best deal around for about 12 bucks for whole evening's meal and entertainment.
Review Source:For the real Midwest farmer dinning experience, this is the place. The amount of food is farmer style and is good. The hamburgers and fried chicken are very good. The conservation at the " local" table is pure country and is worth the price of the of the meal. Since the restaurant is located at the local livestock auction, Thursday the day after the sale, lends a special oder to the experience. On Friday and Saturday night there is the added bonus of local country musicians playing for your enjoyment. The owner, Loree' usually is playing and singing.
