Cazbah is just OK to me. Â Bin 112 is a lot better and a lot more consistent. Â I've been five or six times and over half the food I've tried is not great, but there are one or two things that I really enjoy. Â The service has been hit or miss. Â A friend at our table used a LivingSocial deal and the entire table was charged an automatic 20% gratuity because the server said customers had not been tipping properly. Â Watch out for that.
Review Source:Very, very disappointed! I had a groupon for this and when we went to pay they said we couldn't use it because we ate on the roof top, what? Same menu same everything! They said look at the fine print! I will never go back and advise all other shoppers to beware. Some other people near us tried to talk to the manager and said he was very rude we didn't waste our time.
Review Source:Went here on a Friday night with friends. Â We decided to try out the roof top bar. Â The restaurant is very nice, so we were suprised at how casual the roof top bar was. Â It could have been any burger - wing joint bar anywhere, but, no problem really, just unexpected since I had heard so much about it. Â We tried a couple of tapas, the food was alright. Â The beer selection was alright, not as good selection as I hoped for. Â The service was good and the atmosphere lively and inviting.
All in all, not a bust of a restaurant choice, but I probably wouldn't go back especially when there are some really good choices for food in downtown Greer now. Â Oh, and the train that everyone keeps talking about is really noisy, really often, and really annoying.
On a warm evening one of my favorite places is the roof top deck of Cazbah's in Greer. They have a good selection of tapas and drinks are reasonably priced. If the evening gets cool the inside space is also nice with a cozy feel. My friends and I like to split a couple of appetizers and then order entrees. It is also fun to watch the trains go by.
Review Source:The rooftop deck is a great place to enjoy a beer in the evenings.
Order a few appetizer portioned items from the menu. Â My favorite is the shrimp & grits.
Hang around to watch the train go by. Â You can get a great view from the rooftop. Â The train literally passes by about 20 ft. away. Â Also, the bartender will occasionally pour everyone a "train" shot.
I really like this restaurant.
Greer is a bit out of the way for my wife and I, but I found a coupon online and I loved the food at the Downtown Greenville location, so we figured we'd give it a shot.
I agree with Rob S. - the location is great, much better than the one in Greenville. There was indeed an older, more established group of customers.
There were no amateur nude paintings on the wall of the Greer location, which also makes it a little less awkward than the Greenville location.
The food and service were both great. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Love it for a romantic date-night.
I wish I could say I had a better visit but Cazbah was disappointing. We arrived around 11 on a Friday night. The downstairs was completely empty. I thought that was sad but since it was a nice night, I assumed everyone was on the rooftop.
The rooftop was also fairly empty so we found seats quickly and were served quickly. The bar never got too busy but at some point a couple of attractive women came for a drink and that was the last time we saw our bartender.
Maybe 10 customers and two bartenders, and still we waited close to 30 minutes for our tab. At one point our unhappiness prompted the second bartender to come by and try to smooth things over. He was funny and we definitely were happier after our chat with him. UNTIL, he walked away too and we still didn't get our bill. 30 minutes after we finished our drinks we finally got the bill. While the rooftop is nice, service could use a lot of help.
So Cazbah has expanded to two locations, one downtown and the other in downtown Greer. Personally, I like the one in Greer - it's bigger, the layout is unique, and most importantly there's a 3 story balcony where you can enjoy the quite nightlife of Greer and the occasional freight train passing through. The crowd appears to be more of an older crowd, guessing because it is after all, located in Greer and not downtown Greenville but all in all - had a great time with the wife minus the kids - a rare occasion of feeling ... "going steady", yo.
