Cedar Isle Restaurant & Club

Let me start this way, we're lake people. We were in from Houston and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view of Cedar Creek Lake despite it being low.  We were greeted by the bartender telling us we could sit anywhere, we opted for the patio since it was smoky inside.  After sitting outside for at least 15 minutes we still didn't have drinks, not even water.  The waitress came out to check on others. Did she stop by our table?  Nope. Needless to say, we left. If you want to be ignored, go here!!

Location is wrong in Yelp; it is located on the 334 causeway half way across the lake, between 7 Points and Gun Barrel City. One of our favorite places at the lake, with a beautful open water view that goes on for miles.

The food is great and the service is too. We usually go for lunch and sit outside. There is a bar which can at rimes be a bit smoky, but plenty of outside covered and uncovered seating.

Salmon is great and aso are the sandwiches.  There is a live band on weekends. Nice local place with friendly owners; you can even come by boat!
