Cute place! Loved the various games on the tables throughout the bar. For a wine bar, I would expect the servers to know more than the average joe about the wine they are currently offering. Our server did not. She was very nice, just not knowledgeable about wine which I found weird. They have sangria too, but I did not care for it, one sip of my hubby's and I thought it tasted like an impending hangover. They also have a full bar and beer list.
The first glass I ordered was awful. Tasted like it had been open for weeks, and the waitress eagerly brought me something new, which was great. I think this place has definite potential to earn more stars from me when we visit South Haven again next year.
This is a nice spot if you are looking for a good glass of wine. Â The have a nice selection to pick from. Â The art work adds to the aroma of the place.
This place also has some beer and a full bar so dont be shy if your loved one wants to go for the wine.
We called and the place doesnt have a set closing time so it is tough to tell how late they will stay open for. We went on a saturday night and they were open past 11.
This is a cute little wine bar with a home-y meets sports bar feel. Â We visited at 9:15pm on a Friday night and they stayed open late since the Tiger's were playing (but they even turned on the Stanley Cup Finals when we asked!)
At first I was a little scared since I asked for recommendations on a full bodied, jammy wine and the waitress recommended a zin, but I had the malbec and it was yummy. Â Her descriptions of the wine were pretty good and the taste was even better. Â Unfortunately they don't offer flights of wine. Â My friend had the Blueberry Sangria and said it was yummy. Â
The service was excellent and the art is cool. Â Our waitress even wrote down the name of the artist when we asked. Â Very nice. Â Channel is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a mellow place to grab a glass of wine.
