We ate here for lunch on a Friday. Plenty of seats available, and friendly service. Some of the group were worried that the waitresses' outfits would be offensive - they wear shorts with chaps & a t-shirt. It wasn't bad at all - less risque than Hooters for sure!

Well, half of the group ordered the Rachel - a turkey sandwich with coleslaw. It's supposed to be really good. I ordered the pepper melt, a cup of chili, and a sweet tea.

The pepper melt was pretty good, but a little greasy. The sweet potato fries and honey dipping sauce that came with them were delicious though.  The chili was alright, but definitely not my favorite.  I'd like to go back and try the Rachel and the tuna melt with broccoli salad. Overall, Chapz is a good alternative to the selection of chain restaurants in town.

This place is a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the name, kitschy sign or the uniforms. This place has amazing food!

I came here on a girls' weekend road trip from Columbus to Pittsburgh. My friends are from St. Clairsville, so they were aware of this bar and suggested we stop here to visit their moms and eat.

There was only one bartender, but I think she juggled being busy and alone pretty well. She was friendly, as attentive as she could be, and very apologetic about the situation. The manager/owner came out at one point, and he was really friendly and seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyed ourselves.

I was told that Chicks on a Bed (I may be messing this name up a bit) is really good, but alas...the dish is seasonal. We ordered some fried green beans and stuffed mushrooms to start. Both were delicious. The mushrooms were amazing! Definitely some of the best I've ever had. They were big, juicy and full of flavor. If you don't like spinach, mushrooms, garlic or cheese, I would avoid the dish--it had a ton of all these elements.

For my main course I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was way too spicy for me, but the menu suggested it would be spicy, so that was my fault. My sandwich came with really good saratoga chips, which I inhaled.

My friend's mum ordered the tuna salad. The tuna was cooked medium-rare and looked delicious. She said it was really good.

If you are in this area and need a place to grab a bite, drink or both, I would definitely recommend this place!
