Meh, I guess living here gets to be the same old same old...... They make a decent burger you get to dress up on their salad bar style veggie stand. Burgers are good, but not mindblowing. Prices are up there with Chili's, but not quiet worthy. Fries are fresh cut, skins, black spots, and drenched in grease - skip them. Ghetto Burger/Chili burger is really good - some of the best chili I've had on a burger actually. Might oughtta give this place another star :)
Review Source:More than a pit stop. Charley's should be a destination.
Ghetto Burger $5.99- chili cheese bacon grilled onions jalapinos with thick cut onion rings $3.99 and a Coke for $10 even. Is this an omen of a great meal to come? Let's hope so.
Ding Ding! We have a winner. Chili was a little on the salty side for my liking but it was generous over my 1/4 patty piles high and covered with bacon and japs. Served open face, this is good eats. The onion rings were perfect. Made to order here so asked for well done fries/rings if that's your thing.
Another specialty burger worth mentioning  is the Elvis Burger $6.99- bacon, peanut butter fried banana.
Now offering wheat buns for you health conscious.
Plate offerings of chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, chopped steak or grilled chicken $8.99-9.99 with 2 sides and Texas toast.
Combos (burger fries coke) for $5.99-6.99
Blue Bell in the cup, Sundays and floats for children of all ages.
A few seats outside which is good since it's busy after church and teams  post ball game. Between 12:15 and 12:30 the patrons grew from 4 to more than 35. The wait for order up was about 10 minutes.
Open daily at 11am mon-sat until 11. Sun to 3
Located in fabulous Wills Point, Texas (pop. 3,496) Walking into Charlie's reminds me of the way Chili's on Greenville Ave. was when I was growing up in N. Dallas back in the 70's;
* Well decorated Rustic paneling, antique-strewn decor,
* Clean venue,
* Decent variety and prices on the menu
* Solid execution on ALL food items
* Help is cute, funny, and actually helpful!

Standard burgers are 1/2 lb for $4.99 (classic) to $5.99 (many choices for 'specialty' burgers. Fries are $1.99, and drinks are FREE refills.
Their menu features other items such as chicken sandwiches, salads, and a few plates as well.
They also have 16 flavors of Blue Bell and some shakes too.
Since I had stayed up a bit late the night before (yes, there was a fire, and maybe a cocktail involved), I was in need of something NOT-so-healthy.....so I headed for the Jalepeno Bacon Cheeseburger and fries.....and I was  glad I did. Burger was loaded; cooked med. rare, the bacon was thick and cooked just right and japs were plentiful...when you add grill-toasted buns (now that just sounds wrong, doesn't it  ;u)  = it was the right combination at tha right time. The 1/2 lb. burger with a companion of 1 lb. of fries and I was done for the day = the Leemur needs to head to the canopy a nap now sonz!
With so few choices, Charley's is a welcome addtion to the scene in WP! We'll be back.
This place was great!!!! Loved the atmosphere inside. They put alot if thought into all the details.
And the burgers ??? They were HUGE!!!!
and so were the onion rings.
I love a hamburger place where you can dress your own burger.
We will definately go back here!!!!
Did I say the burgers were HUGE??!!!!
I am a big fan of Charley's. Â It is on the north side of Hwy 80, just across the railroad tracks. Â It is very cute inside and they make a mean burger and fries. Â I recommend the Charley's classic burger but if you are less worried about cholesterol some of the chicken fried items looked amazing.
They also offered a wide range of Blue Bell ice cream.
You can't really go wrong with a good burger and some good Blue Bell.
