Growing up in Gainesville, I've made the trip out to Dunnellon many times to relax in the waters of the Rainbow River. After a long day under the sun and in the water, it's always good to catch a good burger and some cold beer.

Charlie Horse is my one-stop-shop for inexpensive, but large-portioned, food and cheap beer. I've always gone for dinner on Sunday nights and sat in the dining room every time, but I've heard that the bar area also gets lively at times.

In my handful of visits, I've always had good service (especially with groups of 5+), good food, and an overall good time. This is my usual dinner spot before making the trek back to Gainesville.
