The food wasn't bad. Â (It wasn't great, either.) Â The problem was that the place absolutely reeked in cigarette smoke and what smelled like mold. Â Don't know why we stayed to eat. Â To management: It's time to enter the 21st century and ban smoking in your eating establishment. Â And whatever that moldy smell was, please clean it up.
Review Source:Visited this eatery on a recent trip to Troy MO and found it pretty good. Â From outside of the establishment it looked very small, and the parking lot was pretty full, so we thought we were going to have a bit of wait. Â The hostess was very friendly and we were seated quickly. Â Our waitress was very friendly and was prompt on greeting us after we sat down. Â We ordered a couple drinks, nothing fancy, I ordered a drought beer and my wife ordered a Bloody Mary. Â Her Bloody Mary didn't come with any garnishing, so she asked for some olives. Â We ordered a couple appetizers - the garlic parmesan boneless wings were excellent. Â We also ordered some pretzel sticks and some loaded pub chips, all of which were excellent. Â Overall I think if I were to visit Troy MO again I would stop and eat here. Â Overall the place was clean and looked to be in good repair. Â They had TV's showing some NBA games that evening. Â If you are a non smoker, beware because you can smoke inside the establishment and they have a non smoking section which we couldn't smell the smoke where we sat.
Review Source:Yesterday I went to Cherry Street, I've lived in Troy for about 2 years and I've seen this Pub more then a few times. Â It looks small. Â That is deceiving and I think gives way for many people to pass by. Â
Inside is very nice, quaint and very friendly. Â There are TV's everywhere so no one is missing viewing something, even with a few clients it's not too loud to hold a nice conversation
The food was good. Â I can't say great because my boneless wings were a bit dry, but my friends salad looked amazing. Â
The French Fries were super good. Â We both had tea to drink and it was OK. Â I am a real tea drinker so I need something more then a plain black tea to make me say something nice about a tea in some of these places.
I'd go back in a minute, I really liked it. Â They also had a big screen which I am sure is for some super big games and large crowds.
Oh and if you bought a Trojan card from the high school, there are tickets for $$ off. Â We left ours at home, but I know we'll get a chance to use it again!
