Cherry Tree Bakery & Cafe

This place is adorable. Like Gilmore Girls/Stars Hollow adorable. It's a bakery-cafe combo, and they offer up a lunch menu on top of sweet baked goodies.

All of that? Lovely.

Except that while the food was good (I had corn chowder) it was expensive. And it was a little stressful. In that, two very adorable girls were left up front to take my order, and while I love that the kids are involved, it was kinda a mess. They talked over each other and both tried to take my order (I was ordering for 5, it was like a game of Who's On First, but with deli meat), there really needed to be an adult up there helping. And they seemed to be plenty of them in the back.  We saw this scene play out three more times. It was insane to watch.

I'll try again when I have more Xanax, because it was good chowder.

Yummy!!!!! I ordered a cake for my daughters Bridal shower and it was designed as requested and was enjoyed by every guest .  I had half carrot and half white cake with cream cheese frosting. Both flavored were tasty and the frosting delightful .

Quaint little place in the middle of the Village of Whitehouse OH. Kind of a combo coffee shop/bakery. Stopped in to pick up a dozen donuts for the family---$14??!!!!!  They were good donuts but you can get just as good from Sauder's Grocery Store just down the street. Way overpriced.
