Horrible service, sub par food at a high price.
We both ordered the catfish. It was large, but of VERY poor quality. Fortunately the tarter sauce was good. The coleslaw tasted like it came from a survival ration.
After waiting for more than five minutes, I had to interrupt the server's gossip session (with the local sheriff) in order to get a drink refill.
If you are starving, don't care about taste or service and want to pay a premium you should really check this place out.
Great place to go and grab a bite to eat. I've been coming to Andrews NC for our anniversaries and it's a pleasure to come in to a friendly atmosphere and great tasting food. Their chicken strips and chicken sandwich I will not forget and would definitely recommend chestnut cafe to any passerbyers
