  I loved it.  I had 2 Chicago style hot dogs and some fries.  It was excellent.  I'm from Wisconsin so I'm not a Chicago style hot dog expert but to me they were great.  I hope to go back to try something else.  Perhaps a gyro or an Italian beef sandwich.  
  
  I attached 2 pictures.  I went on a Monday afternoon and it was busy when I got there.  I took the pictures when I left and the crowd was gone.  That's why there isn't any people in the picture of the dining area.  The decor of the place is "vintage", ie pictures of Elvis, Wrigley Field, and the 1990s Chicago Bulls.  It gives it some charm.  I think you'll like this place.

  Get the Garlic Fries! The gyro was okay. The fries made the trip worth while.

  When living in Pekin...this is one of my go to stops for nice greasy authentic greek food. Everyone try to make it in there for a treat

  The gyros here are really good! I love the yogurt sauce--yum! I also absolutely love thier french fries! Wow--some of the best I have ever had. Perfectly crispy and salty at the same time. I have only ever had these two items from Chicago Hut, but I see this as reason enough to pay them a visit. Try it!

  What a nice find!  First off the portions are huge. I had the junior gyros. I don't know who Junior is, but he must be one big dude.  The gyro was great. It had just the right amount of meat to sauce combination with cucumbers and tomatoes. The "junior" came with fries which really are outstanding.  They seem to be ever so lightly breaded, then fried to order. Wow, these are like potato pillows. we devoured them!
  
  My husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich, also huge.  It came with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and a spicy cheese sauce. YUM!
  The Hut has a huge menu with everything from a Greek half chicken (9.85) to hot dogs (2.65 and up) . In other words there is a lot available to please every palate. This place cooks to order, and the food is worth the wait.

  This place is amazing! I count on them to deliver me a meal that i can't normally get. Gyros... simply delicious. Their entire menu is phenomenal including the amazing hot dogs. I only have one negative thing to post, and it is the fact they don't have an online menu. I know its trivial, but its actually the only reason i am on this website. I was hoping to find a menu so i can try something different.
  
  Today im ordering a Gyro with extra sauce and lite tomatoes and i had a strange craving for Chili Cheese fries to go with it..  lol at choice of side... but a craving is a craving.
  
  If you are in the area, and want a real filling, delicious, inexpensive meal, Try Chicago Hut!

  Never had a bad meal here....excellent alternative to typical fast food...the Greek lemon rice soup is great as are their burgers/dogs/gyros....for a real treat, try the souvlaki...
