Good Food - Okay Drinks
The food is most always tasty at this location, but the drinks seem weak and sloppy. Not sure if it's just the bartender or the "Chilli's way", but if I have to eat there again, I won't be ordering any mixed drinks.
The chipolte chicken is crazy good, though! Spicy, sweet yumness!!!
The best part about our experience at this particular Chili's was that it ended [apparently] without a case of dysentery.
The restaurant was quite busy, but it was about 7:00 on a Friday evening so not surprisingly so, and certainly at a peak rate when you'd expect to have your 'A' players both on service and in the kitchen. Â We were seated within the 15-20 minutes that the hostess predicted, and despite there being 5-8 perpetually empty tables in view that were either near windows or in better areas, they chose to keep the tables closest to the kitchen full and leave the better tables empty.
Our table was apparently being served by two waitresses, but despite this fact neither felt the need to be especially attentive, to the point that they appeared deliberately imperceptive when we were ready to order.
We waited 5-10 minutes after receiving menus/placing our drink order to flag down our waitress at which point she went over to fill the drink order (1 iced tea, 1 water) and took our order. Â Simple order - nothing elaborate, 1 appetizer, 2 kids meals, 2 entrees, 1 side.
Received the appetizer, consumed the appetizer, had the appetizer cleared from the table (chips and salsa, hard to screw up)
Waited 15-20 minutes. Â Asked for drink refill.
Flagged down waitress, who informed me with confidence that "our food was just coming out". Â Drink refill not received yet.
Waited 10 minutes. Â Drink refill not received yet.
Received entrees, missing vegetables on one, missing side. Â One entree stone cold clearly prepared well before others. Â Refilled iced tea.
Waited 5 minutes. Â Inquired about side. Â Consumed entrees.
Waited 10 minutes. Â Side brought out hot from the fryer. Â Forgot sauce that went with side. Â Inquired. Â Sauce brought out 5 minutes later. Â
Needless to say, it was impressive the lengths to which this particular Chili's went to cram a 20 minute dining experience in to a 1hr 40min window of time from table to check. Â Food was a solid "eh", table had a nice view of the drink machine/kitchen with overflowing paper waste from a garbage can, and the waitresses (both) didn't even bother to check on us or refill drinks without a wave or by flagging them down.
