The staff (a family) are not rude but certainly aren't very welcoming or thankful for your business. Â I've never seen them smile. Â I find that sorta mysterious. Â
That said, the place is rather smelly. Â I'm sure it is the steam underneath the buffet giving off the odor...but sometimes when you walk in the place the smell is very strong and it smells like one thing: Â a wet dog. Â So again...mysterious. Â The smell is stronger on Saturdays. Â They do, however, have an A rating.
They also always have a nice whole salt and pepper pork roast on the bar everyday. Â The top crust and fat underneath is to die for. Â
Oh, and, instead of having rice as a base for your favorite stir fry, try the buttered sliced potatoes. Â Very creative. Â Probably the best Americanized item on the bar. Â I prefer potatoes over rice any day.
The selling point of this restaurant? Â Dessert! Â
Choose from about a dozen baked goodies. Â I prefer the orange cake...sliced in perfect little squares. Â Very moist and fluffy. Â Like ice cream? Â Choose from 6 flavors and help yourself hand-scooped style! Â :p
