China One

Friends and I decided to stop by a new place for Chinese food.... she told me that while shopping at a local food lion she noticed "China One" in the same shopping center. So today, we stopped by for the first time, friend ordered Chicken / Shrimp Combination and I  ordered Kung Pao Chicken. After waiting for fifteen minutes our food arrived, portions were good however I was surprised to see that the usual Egg Roll wasn't included, especially because at other local Chinese food joints you can get entree,fried rice and egg roll for 4.95 and this place was 4.50 per meal. Another complaint is their fried rice, it was rather bland and seemed almost like steamed rice with a little vegetables and scarce roast pork. I added a little soy sauce and it still didn't add enough flavor. The entrees however were delicious perfect vegetable and meat proportions. So over-all a "A-OK" experience. Probably won't return considering the fact that Peking and Rice Fun aren't far and their food is cheaper and tastier. OH, and also I have to applaud them for their sanitation score of 101, it's nice to see some clean restaurants these days.
