There is a portal to the past that opens into this bar (use the portal on the side of the bar opposite the bathrooms) and when you enter here it is still 1982 particularly since that girl in the gold lame bikini top is here still that drove you crazy back then oh but I ordered the fish special (kinda good) and two beers and the bartender was efficient and polite and this time the whole thing didnt cost me $4, it was  $15, which would have given me a whole months of beers back in 1982 so I knew I must have been on the side of the portal that was in the present.    Except for me having to walk a half mile to find free parking so I could concentrate on dinner instead of parking tickets I am ok with it this time.

A Lake Geneva institution.  Walk there on the lake path if you can and treat yourself to a cheeseburger.  They are awesome.  Their bloody mary's are also outstanding and come with a shorty (small beer).  Great way to celebrate summer!  You can also come by boat and carry out!

Totally a cute spot in Fontana... right on the water and the service is really chill and laid back.  Great view of the lake and the crowd definitely seems cool.

The only set backs for myself was that you have to order your own food and drink at the bar, but then they bring out your food.  Just find it odd to have a real restaurant but no real servers/waiters.  Then, everything is Ala carte - fries, chips, etc.  And they are kind of expensive in my opinion, but that's typical of the area.  My cajun chicken sandwich, however, was pretty freaking good.  Really juicy without an overabundance of mayo on it.

PS:  If you are doing the whole 21-mile walk in Lake Geneva, this is the middle point and its great to come here to grab some grub for nourishment :)
