  Perfect!
  This is a gem in Side Lake.  
  Adorable north woods restaurant with a retro vibe.  
  The owners and servers are friendly and welcoming.  The type of place where everyone is treated like family.
  
  Fabulous menu + wood fired oven = doesn't get any better.
  Authentic Italian cuisine that is not to be missed!
  
  And LIVE music!!  What more could you need?  Come here for a perfect family get-together or a date night with your sweetie.  
  
  They also seamlessly catered my wedding rehearsal dinner and I would definitely recommend Ciao for your next catered event (available at the Slovenian National Home in Chisholm).

  We were there for dinner and the food was okay. We had heard so often that this was the place to go for Italian food in the area. It was not bad and it was not spectacular. So 3 stars. One meal was barely warm and the other was to be a spicy Italian seafood and it was very mild. No spice at all somewhat bland. The bread was average and the dinner salad was very good. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

  If you are lucky enough to visit Ciao, then you've hit the jackpot! Perfectly and thoughtfully handcrafted rustic italian with amazing bread! Wood fire oven, makes everything taste DIVINE! One of the few places I have found that have amazing service, we always feel so well taken care of when we visit. If your lucky enough to go during their live music events, it really is a treat or perhaps try their breakfast buffet in the summer. Do not miss this stop! I would take this place over any restaurant in the metro-area, hands down (and I'm from there). Also, many of the items displayed in their decor is hand made by the owner! When you go, make an evening out of it and save room for dessert!
