Cigale Cafe

Fantastic! Great variety, portions, flavors, ambience, quality and service.  Without a doubt, we will be dining here again.  The wine selection was very good and reasonably priced.  I agree with other posters that this restaurant is a gem of a find in Oak Park.

Service, Wine & Food, is spot-spot on. I want this place to continue with much more success, than they already have.
I applaud and commend all who are involved here. BRAVO!!!!!

I wrote this e- mail to my sister in law after coming home from Cigale Cafe...
Every bite made my heart sing.  We had a bottle of Lincourt Pinot wine, they brought out some French fries with a delicious dipping sauce, then some warm bread and tapenade,  our appetizer was a perfectly cooked calamari.  I ordered the Rustica salad, (broiled tomatoes with basil, soft mozzarella, a roasted red pepper and prosciutto.)  We also shared a delicious broccoli soup.  For our main course we split the boeuf bourguignonne, with mushrooms in a red wine sauce and mashed potatoes.  For dessert we had a chocolate cake with a meringue  and cappuccino.  Needless to say the food was to die for.
Wonderful service, relaxed atmosphere and, truly a delightful meal.
