I was in TOTAL SHOCK when I stepped in, this place has TEXAS and OKLAHOMA written all over it. Â When you think of those states or even think of J.R Ewing.....this is place. Â What was neat was they have a person to give you all you can eat of their rolls. Â These are not just any rolls either.
EXCELLENT BBQ
Drove in from Wichita Falls on the tip of a local, and it was worth the drive. Â Went for the brisket, of course, and tried the turkey as well (also following a local's tip). Â Not my normal BBQ fare, but it was really good - moist, smokey & delicious! Â Their spicy sauce was sweet but had a nice little kick to it. Â They had some "sweet" pickled jalapeno's that when questioned, were quickly endorsed. Â A few of us tried them and they were in fact excellent. Â Give them a try for sure. Â And last, but not least, in lieu of the token 2 slices of plain white bread, they were very generous with their delicious, fresh baked dinner rolls, offering 2 rolls right from the start, and our table was visited with a fresh tray twice during our meal. Â Alone, or slathered with their homemade honey butter - outstanding.
