City Limits

Ok... I'm not from Stephenville, or a college student.  But do have one son that graduated from Tarleton there, and another fixing to go in.  I am a huge country music fan, and a pretty darn good dancer!  Been to quite a few dancehalls, and music type bars.  Oh yea... a native TEXAN.  So I consider myself qualified on the review front.  I was on the fence to go 3 stars or 4.  Don't get me wrong its a great place.  Perfect location too.  Parking good.  The sound system HOWEVER sucks!  Sorry.  It would be AWESOME 5 stars if they'd just get a good sound system in there.  
The drinks are a little high too, but thats pretty much everywhere I guess.
Dance floor pretty good, may need a few repairs soon though.  The AGAVE food could up it a notch but not bad.  OK... for all the good acts and Texas Country talent they get in there... come on owner... (and I've heard you have the funds to do so... INVEST a little in that sound system and see the crowds increase.  You'll see a increase in revenue in no time!

We aren't college aged by any means, but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at this large entertainment oriented business.  Hungry, and out of places to try on our way out of town, we turned around to see why so many cars were parked at this establishment.  

Noticing that they were soon to have midget wrestling, I wasn't sure I should even go inside, but some of the patrons going in looked OK so I braved it.

It was great!  Would like more time to see what it is really all about, but we needed to move along, so we were content with our lunches.  I had Friday's catfish special, two pieces of fried catfish, cajun potatoes,and green beans, and he had a hamburger that from the looks of it, he really enjoyed.

We would be happy to eat there again if ever in town.

And yes, they were planning midget wrestling for another evening.  Hmmmm????!!!!!!!
